These ladies were one of the first families I met as we were getting settled into life in Memphis. Covid was still going strong, so childrens programming wasn't running at church. We would all sit in the very back of the sanctuary trying to keep our kids quiet during the sermon. Sweet Quinn was much better at staying quiet than Carter! Then we really lucked out this year when Carter got Mrs. Malland as his first grade teacher! We are so grateful for her and her family and I had so much fun capturing all of these sweet smiles! ❤️

The grand finale was at THE BEACH! Many of you know that my sister is 14 years younger than me. I waited for a sibling for a very long time and I remember the day she was born with a full head of hair. I have loved her since the moment she took her first breath and I love the way he loves her. She chose well! 211 days until they get married and I can't wait! ❤️

Here is installment 2/3 of Alicia and Steven's engagement photos. (I warned you all there would be a lot!) On our second day we enjoyed a beautiful day out on Bald Head Island. There are a lot of reasons that I think Steven is a perfect match for my sister, but the most important is that he makes her laugh and he loves her for who she truly is. I'm so excited to see where their journey takes them. 🥰

Prepare for a lot of pictures of these two in the near future, because MY SISTER IS GETTING MARRIED and I may have taken a million engagement photos! I got to fly out to North Carolina and spend a weekend with Alicia and Steven, which was so fun. We spent the first evening taking pictures at the Art Museum in Raleigh. Their poor dog did not care about our pictures, he just wanted his walk! 😆🐾

This little baby is a few months older now, because I have been slow to post recently, but rest assured he is still just as cute! This is the family of Carter's best friend from Kindergarten and we all just adore them and all FOUR BOYS! This house is always full of love, laughter, and chaos, and I know Lacy and Josh wouldn't have it any other way 💙💙💙💙

The Robertsons have moved to Memphis! Many of you already knew that, but I have been radio silent here since we moved last summer. We have been spending our time getting moved and settled into our new home. I had never been to Memphis before my husband started the interview process here, but we have absolutely loved it so far. This city has so much history and every BBQ place we have tried so far (which is A LOT of BBQ) has been delicious!

Now that we are settled, I have had the brain space to pick up my camera again. I can't wait to get some Memphians in front of my lens!

Natasha wanted to get family pictures done while her oldest was home from college, but obviously the sweet baby ended up being the star of the show. She is so loved!

to this week last year. The last time I got to hang out with the Hough family before the world shut down. When we took for granted how really great it is to be able to have a cup of coffee with your friends. Who ever would have guessed how much we'd miss such a simple thing, and I don't even like coffee! ☕️
