Festivus Pictures are live! I had such an amazing time at this race, from photography to pacing to just being around my amazing friends. This was a sort-of-last-minute job and I'm so happy things worked out. I'll definitely be up to north Florida for a race very soon!

What an absolutely incredible event! I'm so honored to be chosen to capture the powerful moments at Tedx VeroBeach, and editing these pictures allowed me to relive those moments and fully appreciate all of the speakers. For those who attended or spoke, I hope these do the same for you. And for those who didn't attend, you better be at the next one!

A few photos of each speaker from Tedx VeroBeach , I am over the moon with how many amazing shots of each speaker I was able to get. Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, and volunteered at this event! I cannot wait to get these pictures published, which will be in a gallery where anyone can download them FREE.

During my shoot at Pinellas Trail Challenge, there was one runner I spoke to who mentioned she only had one picture from last year. I could tell right away she seemed like a genuinely nice person, and since she had her family out crewing, supporting, and showing their love, I decided to make sure she received the pictures she deserved.

This is exactly why I got into the photography side of races and work so hard to cover the course and get at least one picture of everyone. Capturing these moments which would otherwise be confined only to memory. Many moments are memorable, many might not stand out. Did this family see how powerful they looked riding bikes beside their wife and mother? Did they feel the same power and emotion everyone else felt during the hug at the finish line? Maybe in the moment, and maybe a lingering feeling after. But I hope people can look at my photos and allow that feeling the rise up again, remembering just how special they are to those around them, and how special they are themselves.

Really embracing black & white. I always assumed it was “boring” or “easy”, but I find the results absolutely beautiful when used with the correct image. I may even go back through my portfolio and revisit some images I am unhappy with, or discarded. Cant’t wait to see what I can do for some upcoming shoots!

Carnage at the Canal 2025...a small backyard ultra that is what I needed. I intended to take more pictures, but running a few miles and spending time with friends drove me to get a small set of pictures that turned out incredibly well.

This is also my first shoot with the new Panasonic Lumix S1Rii, and the camera blew me away. Dynamic range, quality, ease of use...you all are about to see some incredible work in the coming months.

At the urging of many people, I am including my Zelle. Apparently people want to send me money for the work I do for free, so if you feel inclined, I will begrudgingly accept anything sent to me:

Well... they are ready. Feeling that strange mix of pride, doubt, and a little emptiness now that the job is complete. I've really put a large piece of myself into my last two shoots, and I hope that even a small part of that is felt while viewing the photos of the Vero Beach Octopus Ultra.

I tend to downplay my work and I don't know if that's a defense mechanism or just my acknowledgment that there is still so much to learn, but it drives me to do the best I can and grow each time I take on a new project. That being said II'm extremely proud of this work, letting myself get creative, leaning into the surreal and abstract, but still still maintaining a sense of realism.

Thank you to Mike Stezinski and Leo Acosta for having my out this year, the Octopus has been and will always will live in my heart.

Dunes 50k was not only a fun time, it was an incredible challenge and filled with learning experiences. This was my first shoot with clients I hadn’t previously met, so nerves were high. However, just like racing, once the clock starts and the plan is executed, the nerves disappear and I go into action. While I loved this job, my only regret is that I didn’t have a second camera man with me. The course was massive, and while I covered an incredible amount of ground, there were definitely spots that I wish I could have stayed longer at before moving on.

Quick and simple logo. Wasn’t sure about it at first, but it grew on me and anything else didn’t hit quite the same.

While I captured some amazing photos, I LOVE this sequence from the winner of Metahqua! Joey won the overall 24 hour race, being the only competitor to run 100 miles within 24 hours. This was an amazing feat considering the course was mostly mud the entire time, making progress slow and painful.
