When a portrait becomes more than a photo…
Most people come to a photoshoot wanting beautiful images.
But sometimes… they want something deeper.
Something meaningful. Symbolic. Emotional. Personal.
This is where my work as both a photographer and an artist comes together.
Beyond traditional portraits, I create custom artistic compositions — transforming photos into meaningful visual stories designed around your identity, relationships, memories, or spiritual connection.
Each piece is created individually, based on your emotions, goals, and personal story.
Here are some of the ways clients choose to transform their portraits:
✨ Personal Identity & Goddess Art
Empowering artistic portraits that reflect your personality, life journey, inner strength, or feminine or masculine archetype.
✨ Bridal & Wedding Custom Art
Romantic, timeless storytelling portraits that capture the emotional symbolism of your love story.
✨ Imaginative & Fantasy Family Art
Magical storytelling artwork for children, families, couples, or generational bonds — joyful, meaningful, and deeply personal.
✨ Memorial & Family Reunion Art
Healing compositions that bring loved ones together across time, combining memories into one meaningful image.
✨ Pet Memorial Art
Heartfelt artwork honoring the love that never fades between humans and their animal companions.
✨ Spiritual & Divine Art
Symbolic portraits created to reflect connection with higher energy, archetypes, deities, or personal spiritual paths.
There are several ways to create custom art:
• We can plan your photoshoot specifically for a concept you have in mind
• You can book a session dedicated only to creating images for custom art
• You can choose a favorite photo after your session to transform into artwork
• Or you can order custom art created from photos you already have
In every case, the goal is the same:
To create something that is not just beautiful —
but meaningful, personal, and lasting.
Because some images are meant to be more than memories.
They are meant to tell your story.
If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing yourself, your loved ones, or your life journey reflected through art — this is where it begins.

This weekend carries very special energy.
March 20–21 marks the shift into a new astrological cycle — the moment when the old year energetically closes and a new one begins.
It’s the New Moon phase, blended with the first spark of Aries energy — courage, life force, renewal, and fresh beginnings.
For me, this kind of energy is deeply felt — not just mentally, but in the body and heart.
And animals feel it too.
Our pets don’t live in fear of the future or stories of the past. They live in presence, loyalty, intuition, and pure emotional truth. When the world shifts energetically, they respond first — by leaning closer, offering comfort, grounding us, reminding us what real connection feels like.
That’s why this weekend felt like the right time to create something gentle and meaningful:
Beach Portrait Mini Sessions with you and your soul animal.
These sessions aren’t about perfect poses or forced smiles.
They’re about capturing the quiet bond — the way your animal looks at you, the way you soften when they’re near, the way your energy settles together.
I’m deeply aligned with this timing myself, and I’ll be holding this space intentionally — calmly, intuitively, and with a lot of care.
If you feel called to honor your connection with your animal during this powerful transition, you’ll know.
A couple of spots are still open. If this has been on your heart and you can feel the timing is right, message me today and I’ll send you the details 🤍🐾

They Choose Us Too!
We often say we choose our animals.
But I believe they choose us too.
Across species, sizes, and lifetimes —
the connection is always personal, emotional, and real.
When I photograph people with their animal companions, I’m not looking for tricks or poses.
I’m watching how they lean toward each other.
How they breathe together.
These moments matter.
They deserve to be remembered.

How to pose naturally with partners, family, and groups
Group photos often feel the most awkward.
Not because people don’t care — but because they don’t know what to do with their bodies.
The secret is simple:
Connection matters more than posing.
Here are a few easy ways to make group photos feel natural and warm.
✨ 1. Always create connection points
Photos feel alive when people physically connect.
Simple ways:
• heads gently leaning together
• hands touching
• arms around shoulders or waist
• sitting close instead of spaced apart
Connection creates emotional warmth instantly.
✨ 2. Avoid standing in a straight line
When everyone stands shoulder-to-shoulder facing forward, the photo looks stiff.
Instead:
• angle bodies slightly toward each other
• create small height variations
• form soft triangles, not straight rows
This adds natural flow.
✨ 3. Bring people closer than feels “normal”
Most people stand too far apart.
But in photos, closeness reads as intimacy and comfort.
If there is visible space between people, the connection disappears.
✨ 4. Give hands something to do
Hands often cause the most stress.
Natural options:
• holding hands
• touching shoulders
• resting on knees
• interacting with children or pets
Movement makes everything feel easier.
✨ 5. Focus on emotion, not perfection
The most beautiful family and couple photos come from:
• laughter
• eye contact
• quiet closeness
• shared moments
Not perfectly posed smiles.
Connection always photographs better than control.
And when people feel relaxed with each other, posing becomes effortless.
If group photos ever feel confusing or stressful, that’s completely normal — guiding connection is one of the most important parts of my work as a photographer.
Because when people feel comfortable together…
The photos naturally tell their story.

What really happens AFTER your photoshoot?
Many people worry about how they will look in their final photos.
Will I look tired?
What about skin imperfections?
What if something distracting appears in the background?
This is where professional post-production makes a huge difference — and where my approach is very intentional.
Every portrait I deliver includes careful standard retouching, which means your images are polished while still looking natural and true to you.
I refine lighting, contrast, and color so your photos feel balanced and alive. I remove small distractions like stains, dust, random objects, or people that accidentally entered the background. If lighting conditions were challenging, I adjust them so the image feels smooth and cohesive.
For portrait sessions (up to 4 people), I also include light beauty retouching. This focuses on temporary and non-permanent details — things like pimples, redness, color reflections from clothing, or small skin inconsistencies. The goal is never to change who you are, but to help you look rested, confident, and at your best.
During your pre-session consultation, we can talk about any personal concerns you may have — whether you prefer subtle adjustments, slight slimming through posing and retouching, or simply keeping everything very natural.
After you receive your edited gallery, you can also request deeper retouching if desired — such as background changes, merging photos, removing or adding people or pets, smoothing hair, enhancing details, or more artistic adjustments.
Because sometimes… a portrait can become something even more.
✨ What if you want more than a photo?
What if you want a fully artistic, meaningful portrait created from your story, your vision, or your emotions?
That’s where the next part of my work begins:
How your photos can transform into custom artistic portraits created just for you.
Stay tuned! Next week we will talk about your pets and I am offering limited mini sessions for them, but the week after that we will discuss what custom art is (it's my passion, I am excited to tell you about it!).

“Not Just Pets”
Some companions walk on four legs.
Some have wings.
Some are small enough to fit in your hands.
They are not “just pets.”
They are witnesses to our quiet moments.
They feel our emotions before we speak them.
They stay when the world feels loud or uncertain.
Photographing this kind of bond is never about perfection.
It’s about presence.
I know this deeply — as someone who loves a tiny hedgehog with a very big soul 🤍
Some bonds deserve to be remembered.

How to pose naturally in photos (even if no one is guiding you)
Most people think they are “not photogenic.”
In reality, they just never learned a few simple posing principles that make a huge difference.
Here are the basics you can use for selfies, photos by friends, or sessions without posing guidance.
✨ 1. Never face the camera straight on
Standing square to the camera makes the body look wider and flatter.
Instead:
• turn your body slightly to the side
• keep shoulders relaxed
• angle your torso gently toward the lens
This instantly adds shape and natural confidence.
✨ 2. Shift your weight to the back leg
This is one of the most important tricks.
Put most of your weight on the leg farther from the camera. It:
• slims the body line
• creates natural curves
• removes stiffness
If both feet carry equal weight, the pose looks rigid.
✨ 3. Lean slightly forward (from the waist)
A tiny forward lean:
• makes the face look sharper
• prevents a “flat” appearance
• creates engagement with the viewer
But keep weight on the back leg so the middle section doesn’t appear larger.
✨ 4. Hands should always have a purpose
Loose hanging arms often look awkward.
Instead:
• hold something small
• touch your hair
• rest a hand lightly on your waist
• place hands in pockets (partially)
Hands should feel relaxed, not forced.
✨ 5. Face positioning matters more than makeup
To avoid a double chin:
• gently push your head forward
• slightly tilt it down
Think “forward and soft,” not “down.”
If your nose is prominent, keep the tilt minimal.
✨ 6. Always turn toward the light
Light shapes the face.
Stand so light comes from:
• a window
• sunset direction
• open sky
Front overhead light flattens features.
Side light creates depth and beauty.
✨ 7. Don’t shoot too close
Phone cameras distort facial features up close.
Instead:
• step back
• zoom slightly or crop later
Distance keeps proportions natural.
Great photos are not about perfection.
They’re about small adjustments that help you feel confident and relaxed.
If you ever feel unsure how to pose or want someone to guide you fully through the process — that’s exactly what I love helping with.
And next (on Friday) — we’ll talk about something many people struggle with:
👉 How to pose naturally with partners, family, and groups so connection feels real instead of awkward.

Dating as an introvert: how to feel comfortable meeting new people.
Introversion is often misunderstood.
It doesn’t mean being shy or lacking confidence.
It simply means social interaction can feel draining — especially with strangers.
And that’s why dating can sometimes feel overwhelming or unmotivating.
As an introvert myself, I understand this deeply.
I’ve been there.
What helped me personally,
One of the biggest discoveries I made:
Meeting someone doesn’t feel scary or exhausting when they no longer feel like a stranger.
Talking online first — slowly, naturally — creates a mental and emotional connection.
By the time you meet in person:
• you already know how they think
• you feel more relaxed
• curiosity replaces anxiety.
Instead of pressure, the meeting feels more like continuing an ongoing conversation.
For me, this approach worked.
My online dating journey led to a marriage that has now lasted 12 years — and many people share similar success stories.
Ways introverts can make dating feel easier:
✨ Know your goal before you start
Clarity reduces emotional overwhelm.
✨ Take your time building connection
There is no need to rush meetings.
✨ Be truthful and authentic (it’s what we can do naturally!).
There is no point to pretend. You need to find the right for you person.
✨ Choose calm meeting environments
Quiet settings help introverts feel more present and relaxed.
✨ Accept past experiences without fear
Not every interaction needs to be perfect — each one is simply information.
✨ Focus on curiosity instead of performance.
Dating works best when you’re discovering someone, not trying to impress them.
Motivation matters more than social energy.
Introverts often connect deeply — not widely.
And when the right person appears, motivation naturally replaces hesitation.
Dating becomes less about “meeting strangers” and more about recognizing meaningful connections.
Next Tuesday, we’ll talk about something practical that many people worry about:
Posing tips and tricks you can use.

One of the biggest concerns people share before a photoshoot is:
“I don’t know how to pose… I’m afraid I’ll look awkward.”
The truth is — you don’t have to know anything. That’s my job.
During your session, I gently guide you through natural movements that feel comfortable and true to you. We adjust everything together — posture, hand placement, where to look, how to turn your body — so your photos reflect your personality, your connection with loved ones, and your best natural body language. Before your session, we also talk about any personal concerns, whether you’d like to appear slimmer, highlight certain features, or shift attention away from something — and I keep all of that in mind while posing you.
Facial expression is the most important part of a portrait — because real emotion cannot be edited later. That’s why I create a relaxed, fun atmosphere where we talk, laugh, and forget about the camera. Often I even demonstrate poses so you can simply mirror me — making the process feel easy, natural, and surprisingly enjoyable.
And if you still have concerns about specific details, don’t worry — in my next post, I’ll share how thoughtful, customized retouching can enhance your photos while keeping you looking beautifully real.
