I’ve experienced many magical moments photographing and observing the wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Now, their future is at risk.

On February 6th, the resolution urging Congress to establish federal protection for this herd goes before the committee. This is our moment to speak up and help protect them.

The view last night from Horsebarn Hill at UConn. Never in my life did I expect to see something like this in Connecticut. After driving around for a few hours looking for pockets in the clouds we were starting to feel pretty discouraged, when at around 2:45am we spotted them in Tolland. Spent the rest of the night freezing our butts off and watching the sky in awe. A once in a lifetime experience!
