At times, you need to focus on the advantage rather than the disadvantage. We were shooting in the studio when the power suddenly went out. Instead of continuing with the monolights, I opened the studio door, repositioned Amelia, and used the southerly noon sun to create a highlight/backlight setup. Amelia adjusted her posing to fit the new setup and matched her expression to the mood we had created.
