A little newborn photography secret…

The baby is always in charge.

While I may have a plan for your session, your newborn sets the pace. We pause for feeding, diaper changes, and comfort whenever they’re needed. I never rush a newborn because the most beautiful images happen when babies feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed.

Patience is one of the most important tools I bring to every session. 😉

When should I book my newborn session?

The best time is during your second trimester or early third trimester. I reserve your due date on my calendar and then we schedule the session once baby arrives.

Most newborn sessions take place within the first 7–21 days, when babies are still sleepy, snuggly, and naturally curled up.
