It's been a while since I last posted and thought it was time for an update. I have made the extremely difficult decision to take a step back from photography, in order to move forward on a new path. That path is not yet clear, but I have faith & patience. There have been a lot of life changes in the last year, my daughter who started as my helper when she was just 7, has graduated from high school & college, and is now an esthetician in Hayward! My son is going to be a senior this coming year. My husband has a concrete business and is in his busy season. After the blessing of being a stay-at-home mom (and photographer) all of these years, the time has come for me to step back into a full-time position. I have cherished what photography brought into my life, most of all, the relationships & memories made. I have done senior photos for kids that are now married & have their own children. I have taken newborn photos for kiddos that are now in school. I have had the pleasure of capturing photos for families year after year, watching them grow. I've had the honor of capturing multiple generation families and weddings.
Anyone who really knows me, knows that I love animals. From horses, dogs, cats, cattle, to even a rat, they made our sessions so much fun! The Celebration of Life Pet Sessions, they were hard, especially when sitting in front of my computer editing...but during the session, exploring a field & new smells, it would bring out the explorer in them, having us all laughing as he/she is running around like a puppy. Or a horse that was pawing in the river, splashing us!
There have been some pretty funny memories over the years as well. I think the biggest blunder involved a dock! If you know, you know! If there was water nearby, I likely was in it, most of the time on purpose.😆
I can't bring myself yet to close my page, so I'm going to leave this here, maybe you can share a meaningful moment, a funny moment, or a favorite photo. I'll be around enjoying a sunset, watching wildlife, finding joy in the little moments, and still sharing bits & pieces of life in our little neck of the nORTHwoods. THANK YOU ALL!!!
