I have been in love with photography since I was only three years old! That is when my parents bought me my first camera, a bright pink pixie 110 film camera. Even though the medium has changed over the years, my love for capturing life's intimate and beautiful moments has not. Sometimes inspiration comes from the people and things around you. I was at Lithia Park in Ashland this past weekend for some family photo sessions and as I was leaving I noticed this child with a coonskin hat. My brain flashed to the Lost Boys from Peter Pan for some reason and while I don't usually ask to photograph random folks, I asked his Mom if I could capture this moment for them.

I cannot believe it's been just over SIX years since I first met this wonderful couple!!! Their first session with me was a maternity shoot before the oldest son was born. I cannot tell you how much I have LOVED documenting this family's journey, watching them expand their sweet family. And more then that, I am so grateful that they have become some of our very closet friends!!!
