Ever since I saw Alfred Eisenstadt’s photo ‘The Dragon is Slain’, I have known that capturing moments, and even better – emotions, was for me. My career started in newspapers in 1998 and now it continues with the editorial work I do in the Boston area. My goal is always to capture the essence of the people in front of me, the people who have trusted me to spend time with them and document their life, even if only for a brief moment of it.

The winter in Boston was a brutal one, so we locals are especially happy to come out the other side. Cyara’s grad session on BU’s campus may have started in overcast skies (great, no harsh shadows!) but it ended with lovely sunset light! We strolled campus to find meaningful and picturesque spot...

Niava’s mom and I worked together a while back at BU and seeing her again was such a bonus added to working with her daughter, Niava. We met in Maudsley State Park in Newburyport for her session. Niava did a great job being her awesome self, and the light did not disappoint
