Just a few sneak peeks from a wedding today as well as a short story:

Wedding party had their photographer cancel last-minute. They found me through a Google search. I was available and happy to help!! In talking to the bride to discuss details of the day, she said the following...

"I'll say I'm a bit self conscious with pictures. I rarely take any of myself. Maybe a handful a year, but I trust you!!"

I made it VERY clear during my time with them, that she has NOTHING to be self-conscious about. But, followers- you be the judge! Is this a gorgeous bride....or is this a GORGEOUS bride?!

Traditionally, after a wedding ceremony, there's a lineup of family as we hammer through the photos. That leaves a little time for the bride/groom photos. While most people want the "standard" family photos, more people are prioritizing photos, and coming up with some cool ideas! They are supposed to represent YOU. Everyone brings it! I love every single one of these- and literally 1000s more! Be you and let's HAVE FUN!

Can we talk about wedding receptions for a second? Because somewhere between the dance floor chaos, grandma busting out moves nobody saw coming, your friends singing way too loudly to songs they only know half the words to, and your new spouse looking at you like they just won the lottery... magic happens.

Reception photos aren't just 'party pictures.' They're the belly laughs, the happy tears, the ridiculous dance moves, the hugs, the tiny moments you missed while living it all. And years from now? These are the photos that'll instantly take you back to exactly how it felt.

Also… not to brag (ok maybe a little 😏), but I LOVE capturing receptions. The energy, the emotion, the organized chaos? It's my jam. So yes, go dance like nobody's watching... because I'll be over here making sure the memories last forever.

✨ 2026 wedding dates are getting limited, for all you procrastinators.… and 2027 is already filling faster than I expected. Which seems wild, because I’m still mentally processing 2025. 😅

Now listen up gang… your wedding photographer is one of the people you’ll spend the most time with on your wedding day. So the question becomes:

Who do you want by your side for 8+ hours?

Someone awkward who makes you stand there wondering what to do with your hands?..or
Someone who makes you laugh, keeps things relaxed, notices the little moments, and somehow creates beautiful images while feeling more like a friend than a vendor?

I vote for option two. I also happen to know a guy. 🤷‍♂️😂

💥The "official" name change will take place as of June 1st!!💥

In preparation, along with all the other backend things that need to be done, I've been working on the online photography courses. I gotta say- what a pain! (Mostly because I HATE being on camera! 😆) But.... I'd appreciate if you take a look and listen. Some constructive feedback would be appreciated! This was my practice session. Figuring out camera angles, lighting, graphics and of course a little dash of the ol' humor.

Please comment or share if you still have interest in learning a little more about photography! There will be several courses from beginner to advanced. Flash and editing as well as a small section on taking better photos with your phone if that's all you happen to have! So ANOTHER thing I offer - as some of you know - is team and individual photos for sports (all seasons) including school, club sports and school clubs such as FFA, etc! As well as in-game photos, banners and fatheads!

YES - I get the obligatory, stiff-looking "yearbook" photos, but we also take time to do the FUN ones!

No messin' around with envelopes that your kid loses or forgets to give you, or turn in. One online gallery link. Order what you want. Digital or print. Easy peasy!

2 session types available:
1- Paid session and all digitals are free to all parents & athletes
2- Session is free! All digitals (and prints) can be purchased right from the online gallery link!
**Digitals are ALWAYS free to the schools for yearbook and online purposes!**

But especially the mother's of senior boys! 😆😆😆

Without you ladies- I'd NEVER have a senior boy session! Hahaha!! I also appreciate you letting me put you to work most of the time as well! 😁. The boys are only ever there because Momma said so! 😂 I love that you hop in for a quick pic (or outtake sometimes) while we're shooting! It's always so much fun!! 🥰
