If you’ve ever said this, I’ll forgive you after you read this post.

Of course I care about my camera, and while I’m being intentional about the quality of my tools, my tools are a vessel for me to create through, not the being with the brain and the heart doing the work!
I am the one who gives direction, moves around, positions myself and my lens, choosing the settings, manually editing and more. Any one of those things could make or break an image! And I as the photographer am in charge of them! (Or yanno, whoever your photographer is)

Pay your photographer due respect! We are passionate about our work being our best, and focused on improving and continuing education all the time, and a nice camera, just makes that a LITTLE bit easier.

Okay, if you’ve made it here, thank you, and if you’ve said this before, I forgive you. But don’t do it again 😤

Woah. There’s a lot going on here in the US right now, and I feel it’s important for me to say something in my own words. If you follow me, you should know my stance, and if you don’t, read this and you will.

F**k ICE.
Immigrants make America.
No one is illegal on stolen land.
Unfortunately, this is just one more way they want to divide us. The more we argue and hate between each other, the easier we are to defeat. Swim down, it’s our duty to fight for ourselves. Humanity is larger.

If you voted for Trump, if you’ve been pro-ICE, if you still don’t get it now!! … I want you to know that you are still who they are against. You don’t have to convince yourself it’s okay when you know it’s not. People change and grow.

It’s important to be informed, to listen to all sides and use your critical thinking skills to evaluate what the truth is. I think if you delve you will find the truth.

Take breaks as you need for your mental health, for your family, but be stalwart. Be strong and stand up for what is right. Your kids deserve to see that, and you deserve to be that kind of person, who stands up even when it’s scary.

We are stronger together.
