These images were taken last fall in one of my most memorable sessions of 2025!

A friend group flew in from all over the country to come together in Newport for a week of re-connection, relaxation and celebration! I love that they thought to hire a photographer (of course!) because lifelong friendship deserves its own moment 💕

Ladies I’m so impressed that against all odds you managed to get the group trip out of the chat and into real life 👏

A headshot series that was part of a girls week away - how fun is that?!!

A warm-up for their group photos (see next post), each was planning to use their portrait for something different - work, volunteering, personal use, just for fun!

My favorite part was seeing them cheer each other on as everyone had their turn in front of the camera. Cheers to lifelong friendships and support systems!

Surprise proposal perfection at Ocean House ❤️

Every surprise proposal is a little different, taking custom planning. For this one I was positioned on the beach before the couple arrived, and he suggested a quick walk on the beach before their reservation. The story was a good one - they were “meeting friends” but the friends were running late (it was really me he was texting!). We pulled off the surprise with the gorgeous Watch Hill lighthouse that they love in their photos. She wore the perfect plum dress that popped against both the beach tones and also against the iconic yellow of Ocean House.

The second surprise was a planned video call where she learned that he had included the kids in the moment and the enjoyed some face to face time with their beautiful new family 💕 (swipe to see her reaction!)

Location: Ocean House in historic Watch Hill, Westerly, Rhode Island. Thanks to the incredible staff at the Ocean House for helping us to pull off the best surprise moment!
