An Artist Knows the Value of Her Work
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients who truly understood and appreciated what I poured into their experience—the time, the creativity, the heart, and the years of experience behind every image.
And I’ve also learned some difficult lessons.
My heart has always been to give more. To accommodate. To serve. To make things special. Sometimes, that generosity was appreciated. And sometimes, it was mistaken for an invitation to ask for more.
So I’ve made a decision.
Be Still Photography is still built on heart—but it is now structured like the professional business it has always been.
That doesn’t mean I care any less.
It means I value the work more.
It means protecting the creative process, the experience, my time, and the artistry that goes into every commission.
I can assure you that with the experience I have, the investment I make into every client, and what I pour back into the experience, you are receiving far more than a photographer showing up with a camera.
You are hiring an artist.
An artist who has spent years learning how to see.
An artist who directs, creates, anticipates, curates, and thoughtfully preserves the moments that become part of your family’s history.
I will always have a generous heart.
But generosity and professionalism can exist in the same room.
And this next chapter of Be Still Photography is about honoring both.
So investigate your photographer. Ask the questions. Look at the work.
And when you find the artist whose work speaks to you, whose experience you trust, and whose vision you want preserving your story—
hire the artist.
Because what I create for you is not simply a gallery of photographs.
It is an experience. It is an investment. It is art.
