There's something truly beautiful about witnessing two people who are "super super in love" (Sara's words) with each other.
When I photographed Sara and Adam last week, I didn't feel like I was "posing" them and taking their pictures.
I had them sit at the pier at Leonardtown Wharf and they settled into their own world. They started talking about their dream home. They joked with one another. They held hands. They looked into each others eyes as they kissed one another.
(I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot I was there for a second!)
I simply gave them an activity and documented what happened in front of the lens.
At this photoshoot, I wasn't photographing. I was documenting their love story.
This is the sort of photography that I absolutely love.
Not photos for photos sake, but photography that eternalizes a memory, a shared connection.
Photo trends will come and go but memories like this?
These last forever, and I'm honored that I was able to take these photos for Sara Boomgaarden and Adam.
Thanks, friends.
