Not every family session needs to be perfectly posed.

When Cassie reached out, she wanted to remember this season exactly as it is… laughter, chaos, competition… the little moments that make up the days with her boys.

So we spent time at their home documenting the things they’ll one day miss most about this chapter.

We captured photos. We captured video. But more than all of that, we captured memories.

I hope years from now, these aren’t just images. I hope they will be reminders of what life felt like right now🤍

When you look back on your newborn photos, I don’t want you to just remember what your baby looked like.

I want you to remember the story.

The nursery you spent months preparing. The tiny details you carefully chose before they arrived. The way your oldest daughter proudly climbed onto the bed to hold her new baby sister.

Yesterday’s lifestyle newborn session was filled with those moments.

We captured beautiful portraits, but just as important were the in-between moments🤍

Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet Fresh 48, and it’s a reminder how much I love these sessions.

The soft, cozy swaddles and bassinet from .nest were the perfect touch, creating such a timeless and dreamy space for these precious first memories.

Fresh 48 sessions are all about preserving the real, fleeting moments of your baby’s earliest days before you leave the hospital and before life settles into its new rhythm.

A huge thank you to Newborn Nest for providing such beautiful pieces. Their swaddles are incredibly soft, and every detail is thoughtfully designed.
