Designs By Britt Photography Wedding and portrait media company based in Central Virginia and available for destinations. My name is Brittany Clark-Adams. Hope you enjoy my work.

I grew up in
Northern Virginia before moving to New York to attend NYU. While in New
York I worked as a graphic artist for a wedding photography company designing
albums, thank you cards, save the dates, invitations, etc. I have also
been an event and portrait photographer for many years up there before
moving back to my home state of
Virginia and continuing my passion for photography

and design. I met my husband in New York
and we got married in a beautiful ceremony on the picturesque Long
Island Sound. Not long after the wedding we made the decision to move to
Virginia in the hopes of a slightly less stressful lifestyle. We
moved first to the west end and then last year we bought a lovely
house here in Mechanicsville where I continue doing portraiture work
here in my home studio as well as in the surrounding areas of Richmond. My photographic and design style is considered
eclectic. I enjoy new ways of discovering people, new ways of
understanding the human condition and of capturing it. Bear in mind
this is not your mother's or your grandmother's photographer my work is
edgy and of a photojournalistic nature. I prefer not to pose too many of
my photos but instead to set the scene and allow the subject to simply be
human. In so doing I capture the very essence of who you
are.

It was a simple, romantic, sentimental celebration that truly embraced the wintertime aesthetic for a January wedding.

Their mutual love of LEGO was on FULL display—my second shooter even brought custom LEGO pieces that reflected the bride and groom. She really went above and beyond for this LEGO-loving couple! 🧱✨

And can we talk about coordination? Kathy Johnson did an amazing job keeping everything on track. She’s one of my all-time favorite coordinators to work with—always smiling, and always showing up for a big hug when she sees me. 😊

I remember this engagement session like it was yesterday. It was right after our historic ice storm that blanketed the eastern seaboard in sheets of snow and ice but it did not dampen our mood as we traipsed through the snow and ice together creating magic!
