My name is Courtney Phillips. Photographs have always had a deep meaning to me. Even when I was young I loved taking pictures with whatever camera I could find! I just married the love of my life on October 21st! My husband Michael is the main reason why I decided to take my photography to the next step. That particular step for me was turning my photography into a career to provide for my family!
There are many things in my life that I am truly passionate about! Aside from photography, I also teach three and four year olds. I work hard to teach these children everything I possibly can to prepare them for their next stage in their lives. I have my associates in arts which I received in 2014 but I also went back and added on my NC credential! I have worked in a classroom with children for going on five years. I love being a teacher. It is a tough job that not many people can do but it is a job that I feel I am destined to do aside from photography. I also took classes for photography while I was in high school and in college. I went to Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC and that is where I graduated.
Other things I am passionate about include pottery, horror movies, Halloween, Christmas, Carolina Panthers, and Spiderman! Although I am passionate about all these wonderful things the most important thing in this world to me is my family. My family made me the person I am today and I would be utterly lost without my mom, my dad, my brother, my husband, and all of our wonderful fur babies! I plan on starting a family of my own soon now that my husband and I tied the knot!
Overall I am a laid back person with a heart of gold! I will do anything I can to capture the perfect picture for a client! The pictures I take are memories that will be cherished forever! Pictures are beautiful and can capture emotions, beauty, pain, love, and so much more. Pictures are a gateway into your past or even the experiences of another. One day all we may have to look back on from our lives is pictures so cherish every one!
