Instead of choosing the frigid, single-digit day this week when the sun was out, I opted to go the next day, which was rainy/snowy, windy, and dark. We only lasted a few minutes out in the cold, the wind blew our boxes off the sled, and the boys tried to wear the wrong hats. But I'm pleased with the photos, and we went out for hot chocolate and coffee at the nearby coffee shop afterward.

Meet Cameron. The kidney donor.

Let me share a story of the Lord's kindness in his life and Pastor Greg's.
When Cameron was in high school, he went to youth group with a buddy and met Pastor Greg, the then youth pastor. Eventually, he went his own way for several years and did his own thing, not caring if his choices pleased the Lord or not.

But during the years of covid, our gracious Lord drew Cameron to Himself, and brought him to salvation. Cameron came back to church, this time bringing his now wife. (He also came with the buddy previously mentioned, which is another cool story!) Not only is Cameron leading his wife and 2 children in following God's ways, today he gifted Pastor Greg with his kidney. He has come through the surgery tired but successful. Please keep this family in your prayers.

Pastor Greg has been asking for a kidney by Christmas, and his prayers are being answered. Today is surgery day, and he is out of surgery, as of 1pm, and the doctors are reporting that it has gone perfectly. Would you please pray for him?
