One of my favorite parts of senior sessions is finding ways to make them feel like you. Whether that’s bringing your bass guitar, your horse, or your truck… your session shouldn’t feel like you’re just striking a pose. I want you to look back years from now and remember more than what you looked like. I want you to remember all the things you loved most during this season of life.

Grad season may have come and gone, but I can’t stop thinking about how cute these two are together 🥹🤍

The thing I love most about their story is that no matter where life has taken them… different states, new adventures, and plenty of miles traveled, they’ve always chosen each other and found a way to make it work. They’ve followed each other wherever life leads and continued building a life together through every season. These two go to prove that home isn’t always somewhere you live, it’s someone you get to do life with.

Before I share the photos of the whole family, I decided these two had to have their own post!

I have such a soft spot for extended family sessions, especially when they’re gifted to parents or grandparents. They really are one of the most thoughtful gifts you can give because, as families grow and life gets busier, it’s so rare to have everyone together in one place.

The photos become more than just pictures, they become family heirlooms. The kind that get framed, passed down, and cherished for years to come.

P.S. I would like to say a very special thank you to Ashley B Portraits for stepping in so last minute to associate shoot this session for me when my health took a drastic turn for a bit at the end of my third trimester 🤍

✨ MINI SESSION FUNDRAISER ✨

A few days ago, my brother and his family woke up to discover that a fire broke out in their backyard, destroying several things ranging from their covered outdoor dog kennel, some trailers, and most devastating, a Scout International that had been in our family for generations. Tragically, all of their chickens were lost. The fire came within yards of their house, shop, and carport before being put out. While we're incredibly grateful that Bry, his family, and their dogs are safe, the damage left behind is heartbreaking.

Anyone who knows Bry knows he'd never be the one to ask for help, which is exactly why I've decided to create this fundraiser on his behalf. Bry is a hardworking father of two who has spent years building a life for his family and caring for the property he loves. The loss goes far beyond what was destroyed in the fire. There are cleanup costs, rebuilding efforts, equipment that needs replaced and years of hard work that disappeared overnight. I am offering a day of mini sessions at a discounted rate with 100% of proceeds going to my brother and his family. If these mini's aren't an option for you, I will also be raffling off a session so stay tuned for details on that!

Give me all the Oregon Coast engagement sessions! 🌊

They chose the coast because it’s one of their favorite places, so it only made sense to bring their next chapter there too. And of course their sweet puppers had to tag along for the moment which made it even better 🥹

I’ll never get over sessions that actually feel personal. Sandy paws, favorite places, and little things that make the session feel so uniquely them… like the sweetest little hand signal they use to say “I love you.” Swipe to the end to see! 🤍

Grad season is almost here, and I couldn’t not share one of my favorite sessions from last spring!

There’s just something so special about this season…. everything you’ve worked for, the late nights, the long hours studying, the connections made along the way, it all leads to this moment. It’s so important to be capturing it in a way that actually feels like you, not just a milestone but a memory you’ll always come back to.

Even though I’ll still be easing out of maternity leave mid May, I’m making it a goal to squeeze in as many grad sessions as possible and will be offering expedited galleries so you have your photos back asap before graduation. With only one May weekend date left (and some weekday availability), don’t hesitate to reach out and get your time slot booked! 🤍🎓

From getting ready together as a family at the Airbnb to the sweetest ceremony and an intimate plated dinner… every moment felt intentional and full of love.
