I'm in between two multi-day events in DC but wanted to take a minute to share this selection of Senior Pictures from a session last weekend at the Jefferson. So much fun working with this stunning Arlington Senior in her fabulous boots! 👢👢🔥 Looking at these images now it's hard to believe that there were at least 10 other photo shoots going on, plus yoga, plus a uniformed gathering as well as a large group of tourists. Mr. Jefferson absorbed us all.

A couple of weeks ago I worked with the folks at Birks Financial in Reston to refresh their website presence with new team- and headshots. Looking pretty sharp in front of their new digs I would say. (Headshots following in next post - thank you, Instagram 😉).

I must say that the "running carefree in a field" pose that many of my Seniors have been requesting lately, is starting to grow on me. Running carefree in a field actually sounds like an excellent idea to me, right about now. 😎

To think that we almost canceled this session because of the iffy weather this weekend. We did move up the meeting time to early afternoon, did some work in drizzle and managed to have lots of fun before the big rain hit. In an almost empty park. Thank you to this intrepid McLean HS Senior for persevering - I think we did pretty well if I may say so myself.

Here are some favorites from Sunday's Senior Session of this beautiful Yorktown HS Senior at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. It started raining during my walk-around beforehand but thankfully stopped just in time and we ended up having the place nearly to ourselves as a result. Humidity was about 90%, paired with balmy temps of our seemingly never ending summer here in the DMV. Isn't she just stunning?

It was all worth it: missing the last two sets of the US Open; waiting out the sudden unexpected rainfall; sweating through 90% humidity. There's no way to tell - doesn't she look amazing?
