Hello loves!

With so many new followers I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nejira Smout, the photographer behind Mama Snaps! I started my photography business back in 2017, after having my first born. I am married to my high school sweetheart of almost 18 years. We live in McKinney with our three amazing kiddos. Aside from photography, I’m also on the corporate side of healthcare as well as a nurse recruiter part time too. Life is a busy, blissful chaos & I wouldn’t want it any other way!

I offer outdoor, home & studio sessions in downtown McKinney! I love capturing every phase of life from portraits to engagements, weddings, newborns & families! I would love to capture a memory you could relive forever❣️

Okay… THIS is exactly why I love doing these sessions. 🥹📸

Lauren and Stefan walked into this session as complete strangers… but Stefan took spontaneous to a whole new level. He **drove FIVE HOURS into town** just for the chance to meet Lauren and see where this blind-date photoshoot would take them. 🚗💨

The nerves? REAL.
The chemistry? 👀
The ending? You’ll have to decide for yourself…

By the end of the session, they exchanged numbers and are hoping to set up Date #2 soon! 🥰

Was this a love story beginning? A new friendship? Or simply two strangers willing to step outside their comfort zones and have a little fun?

Being your aunt is one of my greatest blessings, but having a front-row seat to watch you grow into the incredible young woman you are today has been even more special. Year after year, you've become more beautiful, more confident, and more uniquely you.
