I have gone back and forth on posting this, but I wanted to share a little bit of what has been happening in my life lately.

A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It has been a whirlwind of appointments, emotions, treatments, and trying to process a reality I never expected to face. I have officially started chemo, and while this season is going to look a little different for me, I want you all to know this is NOT goodbye.

Photography has always been so much more to me than just taking pictures. It is people, connection, love, memories, and telling stories that matter. Even in the middle of all of this, I still love what I do with my whole heart.

Because of treatment, I will be slowing down a bit over the summer to focus on healing and taking care of myself. But as of right now, the plan is to be back and fully running by Fall, and I fully intend to continue capturing all the beautiful moments for you all.

I appreciate every message, prayer, booking, share, and ounce of support more than I could ever explain. Truly. This community means the world to me.

Thank you for sticking with me through this chapter. I cannot wait to come back stronger on the other side of it. 🤍

Today I had the honor of capturing these two saying “I do” 🤍 From the moment I met them, you could feel the love between them. Their beautifully blended family may be a little wild, but it fits together so perfectly—and you can see just how much the kids adore them.
With everything going on in my life right now, this session meant more to me than I can even explain. I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it.

I got to take this guy’s family pics in the fall, and now I got to take his senior photos… and that alone means so much to me 🥹
I love that he’s a photographer too, but even more than that—he is the sweetest soul.
I’m really going through it right now, and at the end of our session he told me he would be praying for me… and I almost completely lost it. You just never know how much a moment like that can mean 🤍
This one I’ll never forget.
