Hi friends,
This is a bittersweet post to share but one I’ve been thinking and praying about for a while now.
After so many beautiful sessions, meaningful connections, and memories captured, I’ve made the decision to retire Claire Wortham Photography as a portrait business. This change will become official after my Spring Minis on April 19th. I will continue to honor any remaining sessions that are currently scheduled.
There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for each of you. You trusted me with your families, your milestones, your stories and that’s something I will never take lightly. It has been such an honor and a joy to document your lives.
While I’m stepping away from portrait sessions for the public, photography isn’t leaving my life completely. I’ll still be capturing moments for close friends and family, and I’m excited to be stepping into a new chapter pursuing real estate and real estate photography.
A couple of important notes as I transition:
• Online galleries & album downloads:
Please make sure to download and securely back up any images from your galleries as soon as possible. I will be archiving my website and client galleries on 08/01/2026, after which access may no longer be available.
• Gift cards & account credits:
If you have a gift card or an account credit from a previous deposit, I will be honoring all outstanding balances. Please reach out so we can coordinate how you’d like to use your credit or discuss next steps.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
This transition feels like the right fit for this season and I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting my business, cheering me on, and allowing me to be a small part of your lives. It has meant more to me than you know.
I’m so thankful for each of you and hope our paths cross again in new and exciting ways.
With so much gratitude and all the love,
Claire
