Have I mentioned that I'm down for just about anything you've got in mind for a session? 😂

A couple of my favorite humans (one of whom happens to be local Rose Creek celebrity Heidi Stickle) asked for a maternity shoot that was anything but traditional, and I was immediately all in.

We spent the evening on their home turf, capturing this exciting season of life in a way that felt completely, hilariously them. There may have been a little Big Dad Energy involved, complete with pristine white New Balances, a cold beer or two (don't worry ya'll, hers was NA), a little light reading in 'What To Expect When You're Expecting', and all the confidence of a couple preparing for a major life change!

Of course, we mixed in a few beautiful, "normal" maternity shots too. You know- the kind that won't require a lengthy explanation when they're hanging on the wall. 🤣

I think we nailed it. A little classy, a little ridiculous, and a whole lot of them. ❤️

Extended family sessions are always guarenteed to be a whirlwind of activity and sometimes chaos, but they are also always SO. MUCH. FUN. This extended session was no exception! A herd of kiddos, a bunch of adults that were a hoot and all of a suddent there's 700 photos to sift through. Ha! I love it though and I think I smiled the entire time I worked on this sneak peek! Here's your sneak peek guys!

Amelia is officially my LAST Class of 2026 senior and wow… what a way to end the season!✨ We lucked out with perfect weather, and the grass greened up just in time! And of course- that gorgeous golden hour light was about as perfect as can be for her.

Speaking of weather- it's finally warming up, the evenings are stretching out into that perfect golden light, and I am SO ready for summer sessions! If you’ve been thinking about booking your family, couple, senior or whatever session, this is your sign!

Ok, ok. So I said I wasn't going to do weddings in 2026. Buuut, some circumstances changed, and guess what. Here I am, doing weddings. In 2026. Lol. That said, I am still only taking smaller events and on a case by case basis. My fall 2026 wedding capacity is FULL however!

Now, onto Chris and Chelsie's special day! I love the details of weddings, and this one had so many thoughtful details and touches. While the weather didn't cooperate for us to get any outdoor photos, we did find some amazing window light for some gorgeous dramatic shots. With that, I'll leave you with a snippet of Chris and Chelsie's happily ever after!

Happy 2026!! Starting out the new year with a fresh baby!

Feels like just a few days ago I captured Bryah and Brady's maternity session- and now here he is! Sweet Bryar was wide awake for most of his newborn session, and just look at those big beautiful eyes. He is just the sweetest lil' guy.

I just love babies in black and white. There’s something so special about letting the emotion shine through. It draws you into their tiny details—the softness of their skin, their little expressions and wrinkles, the way light wraps around their little details. These images feel quiet, intimate and timeless to me. 🤍🖤🩶

Last regular session in my queue for the year before tackling Christmas Minis! And it's another of my regular families and man, every year I just can't get over how tall these kiddos get. Have I mentioned how grateful I am to those of you who invite me back year after year to record your memories and milestones? It really means a lot to me! With that, I'll leave you with a sneak peek at the Hanson fam-including Darla the doodle who gave me some stellar smiles this time- even if they were upside down. 😄
