I grew up in a small town, in the BEST neighborhood. And this family was a staple of my childhood. I have so many core memories that involve the Ziesmer family growing up. And after my dad passed, they kept an eye on my mom across the backyard. They were the best neighbors you could ask for. I had the privelege of meeting up with them last week to do a family photo session- and we picked up right where we left off! So many laughs and so much goofiness- it was a blast, and I loved every minute of it. So many great memories attached to this family and that amazing little neighborhood....🥰☺️🩷

Trying to play a little catch-up this weekend and get all those galleries out the door and sneak peeks posted! I’ve been busy, busy, busy lately, but I’m not complaining one bit!

Tonight’s senior feature is Jake! We packed A LOT into a couple of hours, hustling from the baseball field to the football stadium, downtown and then out to the nature center. Basically, if there was a good photo spot, we were there!

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is getting to capture who they are — the things they love, what’s important to them and the places that feel like them. And also...sports-themed sessions are just plain fun. ⚾🏈

Rolling on with 2027 seniors on my calendar tonight- with GORGEOUS Mya! There’s just something about this generation of seniors. They are SO dang photogenic. 😍📸 I mean seriously. Just LOOK AT THIS. Gah.

Mya’s session was HOT (and I mean really hot), but you’d never know it looking at these photos. Between her gorgeous smile, the wildflowers and that golden summer light, we somehow managed to capture a little bit of magic despite basically melting in the process. 🌼

Seriously though, the Class of 2027 is showing up with some serious senior photo energy and I am HERE FOR IT. I’m so excited to get this senior season rolling and see what we create together! 🤍 I've got a couple spots left for Sept/October, then I'm locking it up for the season! (ok, ok, we all know that's probably not true- because I can't say no or turn anyone away- keep that secret for me though, mmmkay?) Message me to get on the books!

Ya know what makes me really happy? Dogs. I LOVE DOGS. And I REALLY, really love when you guys bring your doggos along for your photos. 🥰 Stella the golden retriever was SUUUUPER excited to be part of Cally and Tanner’s engagement session, and honestly… who can blame her? Just look at how adorable these three are! ❤️

I’ve had the BEST time with all of the couples who have stepped in front of my camera lately. There’s just something so fun about capturing this season of life before the wedding day, whether it’s the sweet moments, the goofy ones or even the steamy ones🫣- I love them all!

That said- I’m getting ready to start ramping up senior sessions! 🎓📸 So if you’ve got a senior who needs some photos yet this fall, shoot me a message ASAP because I've only got a couple spots left!

When I tell you this session was steamy, I'm not talking about the humidity!

The CHEMISTRY with these two is next level, and my goodness did we have some laughs and fun! They were really up for anything, and I'm not going to lie- when they said 'can we do the Dirty Dancing lift?' I was SO. EXCITED. 😆 (they nailed it by the way, photographic evidence included). I cannot WAIT for this wedding, if it's anything like this session, it's going to be so much fun! Stay tuned this fall!

This sneak peek is long overdue! This last week was a blur, and honestly- I can't figure out where the heck the summer went. I blinked and it's almost August. Anyway- I really love capturing backyard weddings- I just love the intimacy of them, the laughs, the family closeness- I love feeling like a fly on the wall with a camera in hand taking it all in. ☺️ I was asked to do Lisa and Ron's backyard wedding last weekend, and hot as it was, it was still just perfect!

Give me all the summer backyard weddings! 😍🌼💐🌞

Love, sweet (hot and sticky and humid) love.... 😆🥰 But seriously, I’m still over here swooning over Andrew & Delani's engagement photos! It was a HOT one, but these two made it look so easy and effortless. I loved spending time with them in such a pretty, quiet location—it’s moments like these that make me love doing this so much!

I have openings left for sessions in August and September, and I’m still booking 2027seniors too! My schedule is filling up fast, so send me a message to save your date!

Big news: Edna's humans are getting married! She's already practicing her flower girl smile (nailed it, obviously). 😍

Honestly, I will never get tired of sessions with couples and their doggos—even when the entire local mosquito population decides we’re the main course. We were quite literally fighting for our lives last night- but the good news? Photoshop makes "skeeter" bites disappear like they never happened. 😆 Edna’s perfect smile, thoughr? It's 100% real. 🥰

A casual wedding reception, great food, good weather and lots of laughs- what's not to love? 😊

I had such a fun time capturing the wedding celebration for Levi and Cass on their family farm! One of my favorite things about doing these kinds of events is getting to be a 'fly on the wall' so to speak and capture all the candid smiles, hugs, conversations and little moments that make gatherings like this so special. Sometimes the best celebrations are the ones that are simple, relaxed and full of people who are just happy to be together.
