A few weeks ago, Spa Bleu hosted an incredible Earth Month Fashion Show in partnership with a local business right across the street, Double Take Consignment St. Charles and it was such a fun and meaningful evening!

The talented stylists at Spa Bleu provided hair and makeup for all of the models, while Double Take Consignment outfitted each of the ladies with amazing looks for the runway. The event also served as a fundraiser supporting charity: water and clean water initiatives for Earth Month.

What a fun and unique event put on by Senior Care Volunteer Network. I had so much fun with their Carnival theme. I dressed as a bearded lady and really enjoyed everything from the entertainment to the food!

I learned a lot about the organization and the event met their fundraising goal which went to helping seniors in McHenry County continue to receive rides to medical appointments, friendly visits, help with errands, and the compassionate support that allows them to remain independent and connected.

How cool is this?!

About a year ago, I was contracted by a designer to provide some of my photography for a brand-new local bank they were working with, but had no clue what one. Fast forward a few months, and I started hearing people talk about this new place with really eye-catching photos and some thought I had to be the one who took them. Turns out, I did and it was the new BMO U.S. in McHenry.

Growing up, I always wondered how people got their photography displayed in local banks, hospitals or anywhere where they had photos on display. Now, I can say my work is featured in three different banks in McHenry County.

Huge thank you to Dorothy Wolf for passing along my name, and to Jason and his team, It means a lot to know my photos are brightening both your customers’ days and your team’s as well 😊

The 100 Club of Illinois hosted a great event this past Wednesday! They honored Mitchell Marino with a Valor Award and after hearing his story, it was incredibly well deserved. In addition, a panel of outstanding professionals from McHenry County shared insights on the future of law enforcement and first responders.

As someone who’s built strong connections within our local community and with the people who serve it, it was especially meaningful to hear their perspectives. It only deepened my appreciation and support for the individuals who do so much for our communities.
