And finally, the wait is over🤍

Our little boy arrived right on time, on his anticipated due date, and we could not be more in love.

I somehow made it to both of my early-August weddings, something we weren’t entirely sure would happen with the last one being just two days before we went into labor. From there, it was a very long week and a four-night hospital stay, but through it all, our little love is healthy in every way, and Mom, Dad, and his big sisters are completely smitten with this sweet boy. 💙

Thankfully, this photographer mama couldn’t resist squeezing in a little impromptu hospital-room photoshoot with her two main guys. And honestly? The result is exactly what I had envisioned. There is something so special about documenting these first moments.

We are incredibly blessed to have such an amazing tribe of people in our corner through all of these new walks of life. The love, support, prayers, patience, and encouragement we’ve received have meant more than we could ever put into words.

We’re finally starting to figure out a little rhythm with newborn life, and while my days look a whole lot different right now, I’m still slowly working behind the scenes. Today’s goal? To push out a couple more galleries, including an expanded sneak peek into some recent wedding galleries for my amazing clients who have been nothing short of patient, understanding, and absolutely wonderful throughout this adventure. 🤍

To every client, friend, family member, and supporter who has given me grace while we welcomed our newest little love — thank you. Truly.

And now, with our family feels a little more complete, I’m already looking forward to reopening my books and seeing more of you this fall to document all of life’s precious moments.

For now, though… I think I’ll soak up a little more newborn cuddling. 💙

From their engagement session to TODAY! 🤍

It’s finally wedding day for Danica & Jace, and I couldn’t be more excited to be behind the camera capturing every moment alongside my right-hand man, Matthew.

At just shy of 40 weeks pregnant with our little boy, there was a point when I wasn’t sure I’d have the pleasure of participating in this day myself. But for months now, Matthew has been dedicated to planning, preparing, and making sure he was ready to step in and be there for Danica & Jace, flying solo, if needed. His commitment to making this day everything it deserves to be has meant more than I can put into words.

Thankfully, this little guy decided to let Mama have her day behind the camera. 😂🤍 And now, we’re ready to make some magic!

The weather is looking beautiful, the venue is sure to be stunning, and the day is bound to be full of unforgettable moments… but I have a feeling none of it will hold a candle to the bride. ✨

What a beautiful day it was celebrating the marriage of Faith & Zach 🤍

I feel incredibly blessed to have been part of such a meaningful day, capturing every special moment alongside my sidekick and partner for the day, Matthew Hintz

If you ask me what stood out most, it would have to be their personalized vows. I'm not sure there was a dry eye in the crowd.

The love, emotion, and promises they shared with one another were a beautiful reminder of what weddings are truly about.

The Chapel in the Pines at Timberlake Lodge was the perfect setting, full of charm, elegance, and warmth.

As Matt wrapped up the evening for me, I couldn't resist sneaking this image into my editing queue this weekend as a little tribute to such a memorable day. Sometimes one photo just can't wait.

June and July wedding galleries are in their final stages and will be heading out soon. I can't wait to relive the rest of this incredible day while finishing Faith & Zach's gallery, and I truly can't thank all of my amazing couples enough for trusting me to preserve these once-in-a-lifetime memories.

Sometimes it’s fun to show something a little different… so today, here’s an image straight out of camera before any editing next to a finished snapshot.

Photography is such an artistic and individualized process. For me, one of my favorite parts is seeing the beauty in a moment and knowing how I can bring it back to life through editing.

Have you ever witnessed an incredible sunset, pulled out your phone to capture it, and then looked at the photo only to be disappointed because it didn’t come close to what your eyes actually saw? Cameras don’t always capture light, color, and emotion the way we experience them in real life.

That’s where editing comes in.

My goal is never to create something that wasn’t there. It’s to enhance what’s already present and preserve the beauty of the moment as it truly felt. A beautiful photograph starts in camera, but the editing process is just as important in creating the timeless images that are delivered in your gallery.

I can’t wait to share more from this gorgeous senior session, but I also wanted to give a little behind-the-scenes perspective into the care and detail that goes into every image. Your gallery isn’t created with a single click. Every photograph is individually reviewed and thoughtfully edited because creating something beautiful takes time. 🧡💛

After wrapping up most every session, I truly cannot WAIT to get home, import the gallery and relive the love all over… and Hope & Neale’s is absolutely one of them 🤍

Their vision of a dreamy sunset field session (with touches of flowers) came to life in the most beautiful way, and every time I look through these images, I’m reminded why I love what I do so much. These two have a way of making everyone around them feel at ease, and you can truly feel the love, warmth, and genuine connection they share in every photograph.

As I work on finalizing my scheduled sessions before our little boy makes his arrival, I’ve been spending my down time carefully editing galleries and adding those final touches before they’re delivered. It’s been such a sweet season of reflecting on the incredible families, couples, and milestones I’ve had the privilege of documenting.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your past, your present, and your future memories throughout the years of Harley Leigh Photography. It is a responsibility I never take for granted, and I feel so incredibly blessed that you’ve chosen me to preserve these moments for you.

There are sessions that leave a lasting impression... and then there are sessions like Paige & Logan's. 🤍

We were treated to the most breathtaking pink sunset over McCarthy Beach, with rays of sunshine breaking through the clouds as if they knew just how special the evening was. It was one of those moments you simply can't plan for, only be grateful enough to witness.

Paige & Logan, a 2027 wedding couple, are the kind of people who make you count down the days until their wedding. Their love is effortless, genuine, and filled with the quiet kind of joy that reminds me exactly why I do what I do. They are building such a beautiful life together, and I feel incredibly blessed to preserve these memories as their story unfolds.

And if this view looks familiar... this is the camera's perspective from the behind-the-scenes photo I shared of my husband's brief debut as a cellphone photographer. 😉 He didn't do too bad, but I think these images of this beautiful couple prove that the camera still has the edge.
