Nancy Kahl Photography Since 2009, we’ve been fortunate to call McDaniels, KY home. My intention is to share with friends, the beauty I get to see daily.

Thank you for viewing my original wildlife photographs taken around Rough River Lake in central Kentucky. Our family has enjoyed this retreat for several generations. I can remember my first sighting of a perched bald eagle while boating one summer afternoon, nearly a decade ago. We call Rough River home now, and are fortunate to watch these magnificent birds soar, fish, and raise their young here

. My intention is to share the beauty of the wildlife in this area and bring attention to the success of wildlife mangement to balance leisure and the health of our environment.
