If this session felt like anything, it felt like the final scene of a film.
The camera pulling back.
The music swelling.
The audience already knowing everything is going to be okay.
Not because of some grand gesture or dramatic declaration.
But because of the way Tanisha and Walter move through the world together.
The ease of it.
The familiarity.
The quiet certainty.
The strange way everything around them seemed to settle into place.
Like the light knew exactly where to fall.
Like the evening lingered longer than it intended.
Like every ordinary thing became a little more beautiful simply because they were standing inside it.
The prairie stretched wide beneath a fading Nebraska sky.
Dust drifted through golden light.
Shadows reached across the fields.
And there they were.
Not performing.
Not chasing a perfect photograph.
Just existing in the moment together.
The older I get, the less I think great love looks like fireworks.
I think it looks like this.
Like a favorite song playing from another room.
Like reaching for the same hand without thinking.
Like becoming part of the landscape of someone else’s life.
There is something undeniably cinematic about Tanisha and Walter.
Not because their story feels larger than life.
Because it feels real.
Grounded.
Steady.
The kind of love that doesn’t ask to be noticed, yet somehow becomes the most beautiful thing in the frame.
Years from now, they’ll remember the wedding day.
The vows.
The celebration.
But I hope they remember this, too.
A quiet evening.
A wide-open sky.
A field washed in gold.
And the feeling of standing at the beginning of forever while the rest of the world slipped softly out of focus.
I cannot wait to tell the next chapter of their story.
