Autumn Lynne Photography

Autumn Lynne Photography I help couples elope in the mountains of Idaho by providing elopement photography + planning. I enjoy taking pictures that speak to the natural beauty of life.

I (Autumn) live along a beautiful river in central Idaho with a wonderful husband, a handsome son, two dogs and a slightly deranged cat. I hold a BA from the University of Idaho in Psychology and Communication Studies. Ten years ago I picked up my first camera and fell in love with visual storytelling. I am a natural light photographer with a focus in portrait and wedding photography. I am based o

ut of Riggins, Idaho. This small town is located several hours north of Boise. I practice on location photography. This means you pick the location and I come to you. I am available to travel wherever your wanderings take you.

This couple wanted a spinning photo, so I shot it as a GIF too. What do you think of the result?

Some say fairytales are just stories, but Christian and Sarah are proof that a fairytale can be handwritten in the mountains of Idaho. What began on a volleyball court in 2017 blossomed into a sunflower field proposal, and finally, an intentional elopement surrounded by the mountains they love most.

Their vision was simple: exchange vows privately at sunrise, spend time with their pup Polly, and then celebrate with family. We brought that vision to life with a sunrise timeline that gave them the early morning hours to simply be together before joining their loved ones for a mid-morning ceremony in Ponderosa State Park and brunch in McCall.

A few moments I loved from this elopement:
— Sarah and her dad shared a quiet First Look before the ceremony.
— Polly, their shaggy pup, proudly took on the role of Dog of Honor.
— Sarah’s dad walked her to Christian, then officiated their ceremony.

Can you picture your own fairytale wedding? I’d love to support you through the process of creating a wedding day that feels deeply personal and true to your relationship. I’ve helped 120+ couples elope in Idaho, providing not only photography, but also planning support and guidance every step of the way. Head to the link in my bio to inquire.

How is it that we manage to find our person in a world so big? And how lucky are we to find the one who loves us in return.

N and E did. And on a warm spring evening last month, they chose to love each other for life.

Don’t leave it unsaid. Tell your person you love them tonight. Hold their hand over coffee in the morning. Make time for that date night you’ve been wanting to do.

Love is a gift to be nurtured and held onto.

This week, an astronaut photographed a solar eclipse from the dark side of the moon. Whether you’re 252,756 miles from Earth or standing somewhere promising forever—moments don’t repeat themselves.

We have fading memories, but a photograph can bring us right back—not just to how it looked, but to how it felt to be there. Wedding photos that take you back don’t happen by accident. They start with a photographer who pays attention, who anticipates, and creates a space that allows you to be present and true on your wedding day.

If you’re looking for someone to capture the unrepeatable and true moments of your wedding, click the link in my bio to see if we’re a fit.

Love rarely follows a straight line, and for Cole and Lucy, it meandered across entire oceans. Cole was stationed in Europe and met Lucy while visiting friends in Poland. They quickly formed a friendship, but work and school pulled them to different continents. It wasn’t until a spontaneous weekend trip—two years after they first met—that they realized their connection was something more.

In August they traveled to the U.S. to elope in Idaho. Lucy and Cole started their wedding day with a private sunrise ceremony in the Sawtooth Mountains of Stanley. In Poland, wedding rings are traditionally worn on the right hand, and during their ceremony, the couple honored this custom by exchanging rings on their right hands.

Later that morning they met their families at the Idaho State Capitol for family portraits before heading to lunch.

It was important to the couple to have a private exchange of vows alongside celebrating with their immediate families in a beautiful city. After eloping in Idaho they had a traditional reception in Poland.

You can find Cole & Lucy’s full elopement story + 5 tips for eloping at the Boise Capitol on my blog.

What if your wedding day wasn’t structured around time? This moment happened because we weren’t watching the clock. We had space to wander. To wait for the fog to lift. To say, “Let’s try this”. When time isn’t a priority, cool stuff happens.
