Hi, I’m Ashley Beth and you have reached my photography page on facebook. Here you will see various examples of my great passion in life, photography. They were often blurry, out of focus, and made little compositional sense but I definitely had ideas about what I wanted to see from behind the lens. About 15 years ago I met somebody from another state and realized I didn’t have any recent photos o

f myself or my family. So with a cheap 35mm point and shoot in hand I set out to document my life for her. That experience awakened a long dormant passion for photography that has continued to this day. A lot has changed since then. Nowadays I use a Canon Digital SLR and professional editing software, but some things will never change. Shot composition remains the most important part of my work, followed closely by proper use of lighting. And I still have some very definite ideas about what I want to capture with my lens. I describe my work as being about capturing a single moment in time. The old trope is that a picture is worth a thousand words and it is my hope that my very best pictures tell a compelling story about their subject.
