Hi There. I shoot in studio, on location, and in Texas. Now - this has to be one of the most difficult things to write as I really do not fall into the “typical” photographer category. I love what I do and it’s one of those things that would do (even if I don’t get paid for it). It’s a passion and it’s something that I’m constantly working on. A few days ago I was asked, what’s been my favorite sh

oot, that’s hard to say as everything that I do has been different. I started off as a news photographer back in 1997 and eventually found my way from news to commercial to what I’m doing today. Over the last few years I have shot mostly commercial but I do enjoy working with people one on one. If i had to say what my “style” is that’s simple. Story telling. I love meeting people and finding out what interests them and then build the end picture from there. There’s nothing like the feeling of walking away from a shoot knowing that you “nailed it”… you know that you got what you and the customer were looking for.

A pretty good day at the Mission Chamber luncheon. Full house, like always. We heard from Congressman Henry Cuellar and several other national and international leaders. After it wrapped up, I had a few minutes to talk with him. He asked about my upbringing, so I shared a little about my parents and the way they served their community.

Then he asked to take a photo with me. That’s a first, lol. Anyways, I liked what he had to say and I had a great time. It’s always fun working with the Mission Chamber. You never know what the day will bring and who you’ll meet.

Great day in McAllen working with the Driscoll team. Had a lot of fun helping prepare a new campaign and collaborating with an awesome group of people. Always thankful for clients who trust the process.

It was a great day for head shots in Harlingen. Solid way to hit the middle of the month.

Editing photos from the Driscoll Parade late last night, listening to a photography documentary, when that squirrel decided to stop by again. 🐿️

If you remember, he came to visit a week or two ago—apparently that wasn’t a one-time consultation.

He peeked in like he was checking my edits… or maybe just admiring the Christmas lights. Either way, I think I’ve officially got a squirrel creative director now.

Behind the scenes of Day 3 shooting for Driscoll Children’s Hospital

I teamed up with a Miami-based aerial cinematographer while I focused on stills. For this final video, we created a parade-style sequence highlighting the vehicles that support the hospital every day.

You’ll spot the operator and his monitor first… then boom — pull out to reveal the full lineup rolling in together.

Always fun when creative ideas come together like this.

Big thanks to the City of McAllen for bringing me back. It was really good catching up with old friends and seeing all the cool floats again. One of the best parts was just watching everyone get into it — people cheering for their favorite floats, and those floats with the little gold karts inside were such a cool touch.

The Whataburger float was wild (definitely my favorite), and seeing the Driscoll logo rolling by on wheels was pretty awesome too.

Grateful to be able to capture stuff like this for the city

Met Danny Trejo at the McAllen Christmas Parade. He was busy nonstop, but I got a quick moment to talk with him about some of the charity work he’s involved in. Super humble guy. Really impressive stuff.

I usually don’t take photos with celebrities I meet, but I’ve been a fan of his movies forever… so yeah, I broke my own rule this time.

Just one of those unexpected moments that reminds you why you keep showing up.
