I used to be able to get away with headbands for Amelia... now she yanks them off! I’m lucky if I get a bow in without her pulling on it.

Our Minis this year will consist of the beautiful neutrals the Earth provides. Deep greens, light skies... the perfect palette of earthy tones.

Props will be extra light, so feel free to color up your life with some typical holiday-themed outfits if you so choose.

Amelia turns ONE soon! 😳 ☝🏼

It’s crazy to think she didn’t exist last year. Truly, it’s been the best thing in the world to get to have a front row seat at each milestone she’s gone through this year alone!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Babies change so much. 👧🏻 Sleep patterns, food introductions, teething, crawling, cruising, learning how to communicate, walking and even their p**p changes! This year alone, she’s gone through the flu, covid, a hurricane evacuation and moving cities.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It happens; As soon as you start feeling like you’ve got it down, boom. CHANGE HAPPENS.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But that’s life. Constantly changing. Sometimes we may be fixated on making sure we stick to the “plan.” I know it all too well, I’m a planner!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But plans change and we HAVE to be ready to adapt and sometimes take a step back and wait. That’s a hard one for me! I’m a hustler, a doer. And yet every time there’s a change in my life, I think of the words spoken from my mom. She says, “con calma, al paso, que todo va salir bien.” Calmly, take it slow. everything will turn out right.

And somehow they do. Don’t know why or how. But they do. So yes. This couldn’t be truer in days like the ones we’re living in. Save yourself some heartache and do it the way your momma told you to. 😘👊🏻 Anyone relate? Let me know in the comments below.

EVERYONE WANTS TO BE THE HERO.

I recently finished reading the book, Building A Story Brand by , and it was a page turner!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of the key things it mentions is that positioning you and your business as the guide in your customer’s life is imperative to the success of your business.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We get it, you’re proud of the company you’ve built, but when you start to sound like the hero in their story, you’ve lost them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The common questions you should be asking are, “how is what I offer helping be the hero of their own story? Live a better life? Save time? Save Money? Solve a problem?”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Only a GUIDE can answer that. NOT the hero. 🙃

WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY ABOUT YOU IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. 🙀👏🏻
Listening to the opinions of others stop of us from doing great things. I’m not talking about constructive criticism or feedback from your customers.
I’m talking about the people who may or may not be in your circle. I’m talking about the people who suck life out of you and drain you with words about the work you do. Did someone just come to mind? 🧐
It’s time you 👏🏻 PROTECT YOUR CONFIDENCE. 👏🏻 Stop listening to people who don’t know what they’re talking about. And start collecting advice from people playing the game you’re in at the highest level.
Your inner villain feeds on outside influences, and it creates this limited belief story in your head. Stop it! And...
👏🏻CHANGE YOUR STORY. 👏🏻
How though?! Empower your inner hero. Stop the blame, stop playing the victim and be honest with yourself and the limited beliefs you have. Think about what will life be like in 5 years if you keep telling yourself this story. And then prove it’s a freaking lie.
Find someone who’s been there in the struggle you’re currently in and learn from them; grow from them. Positive emotions don’t interrupt you, usually you have to pursue them. ❤️

👇🏼3 TIPS FOR BETTER PRODUCT PICS
With more online shopping, it’s time you give your customers the ultimate experience. Customers should experience each image as if they were holding the product and moving it around in the store.
Your pictures need to simulate this experience. So here are three simple tips to help you take better pics of your beautiful product.
🌟Clean Backdrop— Something as simple as a white poster board can eliminate any distractions and keep your product the main focus. (Pro tip: Make sure you look for any stains or wrinkles and clear those out unless they’re part of your brand.)
🌟Easy Props— Think about the use of your brand’s color palette. Style your images with props that speak to who your ideal client is. (Pro tip: humanize your product by including your hands or objects you use daily!)
🌟Natural Light— Setup by a window and make sure there are no harsh sun spots in your shot. You want an even shaded background. If you need more light, a simple white poster board facing your window will help fill in some shadows for a more professional look. (Pro tip: Turn off all the lights in the room including lamps, room lights, etc... you don’t want that yellow/blue light from the ceiling!)
