BW photojournalism Softball game photos.... My start was over 50 years ago with BW 35mm film. Finding a mix of both film speed, film processing and paper contrast/chemicals that gave good tones across black to white was always a challenge. White not blown out to nothing. Black with detail in them.

Little did I know that would be the foundational rules for when I got into International judging. Knowing your equipment....capturing the photo.....then processing it to represent what your mind saw. Still doing it with 'digital'!!

No Photoshop on these....just processing to match BW film like when I started! RAW photojournalism was always one of my favorite things to do.
