And the heels of one of the greatest days of my life, watching my daughter graduate high school, providing I also found out that I was the winner of the Best of the East competition in the photographer category! I am completely blown away and so honored. Thank you, thank you thank you to everyone who voted for me and everyone who supported me along the way.

For the past six years, I’ve had the HONOR of watching these 13 girls grow from adorable little muffins to the most spectacular young women. I’ve woken up Saturday mornings to them sleeping on my couch, piles of shoes, friends making breakfast and them making our home their own.

When your humans are little and you pick their friends for them, it’s easy you don’t have to worry, but as they grow up, and they begin to select their own friends, it shows the character of the people you raised. When they surround themselves with other amazing people, you know you’ve done a good job.

These girls, all of them, have been friends since sixth grade. No ins no outs. It’s the type of friendship you only pray your kids will have.

Today, when I watched these girls walk across the stage I will feel pride for each and every one of them.

My heart is so full. I’m also blown away that 13 senior girls were able to come together for one night for this photo shoot with me and it was an absolute dream come true.

I love you girls so much thank you for sharing your lives with us. We can’t wait to see what you do next.

I talk about the powers of the universe a lot. On here sometimes but every day in my life I say thank you and know the universe is working for me.

When I host a contest and a family like this wins - I know for sure the universe is working for me.

I first met this family when I was volunteering for a event. The fact that they were there in the first place makes them special. Mom started to follow my page and then entered a contest and won a free shoot. Then we meet in person and they are the most phenomenal people.

So I will say thank you again to my universe.
