Would you have guessed that the cute little one in this wanted nothing to do with the pictures?

The best thing you can do with little ones during a photo session is just relax and go with the flow. I have tricks to let the little ones feel comfortable and get great pictures of your life as it is now.
So just embrace the imperfections and enjoy the moment, they are only little once.🥰

Warning *completly unrelated to photography rant*
Does anyone else want to sign a petition to stop using those stinky fruitless pear trees on nearly every campus?? Who’s with me? Down with the fish trees! 🐟

In home sessions can be really relaxing and fun.
Here are some tips to help them go smoothly.
1. Find the brightest room in the house (cameras need more light than our eyes so find the biggest windows. Don’t rely on artificial light being the source.) Take note of the light throughout the day for the best time. See if there is any weird shadows or bright spots at different times of day. You can even send me a picture to ask questions.
2. You CAN plan an activity like baking if you want some fun or just be casual. It’s your home, make yourself comfortable.
3. Clean the clutter (or stuff it in a closet… I won’t tell). You want the photos to be about YOU.
4. Just have fun! There really isn’t much more to an at home session vs one on location. I will still pose and direct you to get natural, personal photos.
