I was invited to the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration: Celebrando! at Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Ctr. They planned a beautiful celebration and they also had a Covid-19 vaccine clinic on site. Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine MD Students and a team from Neighborhood Family Practice spoke to interested attendees about the vaccine. They administered either Moderna or Pfizer vaccines to those who decided to get vaccinated at the event.

The Cleveland Orchestra played a few songs and included special guest musicians as well. The Cleveland Public Library was at the event too with fun games for all ages.

All of art on display was amazing. They had a "Door to my barrio" project where Latinx artists were assigned a Spanish speaking country and they repurposed doors into new reimagined artwork. They were beautiful.

The majestic bald eagle bringing a fresh caught fish lunch to the kids waiting at the nest.

I had a day off of work today, so I visited the eagles for a couple of hours. I love watching them, even when they don't seem to be very active. This eagle family is engaging, and beautiful to see grow up.

I made some time to visit the bald eagles today. The juveniles are so big. They are fun to watch while they try new things.
