Back in November I was honored to photograph a very emotional fund raising event held at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging in Cleveland for an organization called Renee Jones Empowerment Center. This organization deals with helping people who have been taken advantage of in human trafficking. Many tear filled speeches by some very mentally tough ladies. If you think you have had a bad day...think again, Oh My!

August marks the beginning of firewood season for us, add two more months worth of weddings with the firewood deliveries, go on a quick vacation to Cape May NJ in the middle of September to really stir things up and so that leaves no time to post on facebook. Did our last wedding for 2013 a week ago and so we can now take a breath, finish our website and work on bookings for next year.

Another GREAT couple, Rachel Green and Justin Hutchinson, now Rachel and Justin Hutchinson. The weather may have started with rain and ended with sun but the day with these folks was beautiful from start to finish. Sandy and I thank you for such a nice day.

I ask myself this all of the time. “Is this a job??” I meet great people, I get to be involved in one of the most important days of their lives and I truly fall in love with each couple. As each moment of the day passes you get to glimpse a little deeper into who they are. Very cool.
I get to be and photograph with my friend all day, I love Sandy and I love photography. So it is like a win, win, win. It is one giant day of emotions and love and I feel blessed to be able to do this and be a part of the day and to top it off actually get paid. Very hard to explain, at least I find it hard to explain.
I hope my love for what I do shows in the way I work and the images you receive. All I can say to each and every couple we have photographed is, Thank You. Ray
