So, I just got in my house and put my feet up to look through the hundreds of photos that I took on the trip. I will be posting a good number of them in the next couple days as I gather the decent ones. Stay tuned. 🏞️
Until then, I’d like to post my two most important and memorable pictures taken during my whole trip to and from Tucson.
To my Aunt Jo, Uncle Gary and my kickass cousin, Erin, you have no idea what a gift it was to me and Keeva that you all shared your life, home (especially the shower) time and amazing food with us.
I can’t thank you enough for making the past six weeks and my 50th birthday so special and some of the happiest, most beautiful days of my life. ❤️❤️❤️

Okay, so I’m a little late, but here are some, well, a ton of photos from our journey cross-country to my hometown of Tucson, AZ.
It was a solo trip I promised myself I would take for my 50th birthday, and I kept my word.
What a wonderful and beautiful adventure it was with my beloved Keeva. A great time was had!
Very soon, I will post some photos from my time here in Arizona, where I feel most at home and at peace. The adventure continues! Stay tuned! 🌵

50 years ago today, I came into this world like a firecracker, under the same sky I am enjoying this very morning. It’s been quite a ride through life, and very bumpy at times; however, it’s been amazingly beautiful as well.
My longtime dream was to spend my 50th birthday in my hometown of Tucson, Arizona, and I made it!
It’s a beautiful thing, growing older, and I don’t take one day for granted. I nearly lost my life more than a handful of times, and the roads I chose weren’t always the best decisions. I’ve loved big, I’ve lost big. I’ve smiled and cried. I felt overwhelming pain and immense joy. I have fallen hard but gotten up and pressed on more times than I can count.
Yes, age is just a number, but making it to 50 and living out my dream under the beautiful and radiant southwestern sun makes every year I’ve lived worth so much more than just a number.
I wish my parents were here to help me celebrate, since I was reminded every single year by my mama that it was the happiest day of their lives. What I am blessed to have is a beautiful and loving family on both coasts and wonderful friends all over the world who make me feel so loved and appreciated.
To me, I couldn’t ask for a better gift. 💝

To this day, I still try to ask myself, what would Austin tell me to do. There has been so many times where I take his advice from all those years I was blessed to have my MCMF big brother. He helped me grow into a better human being, a stronger rider and truer friend to those I love. Most importantly, the man calmed me when the s**t hit the fan and that was a difficult chore, at times. “Stay up! You’re stronger than you think you are. Now, don’t let the haters get you down!” and my favorite, “let’s ride, it’ll help.”
He loved my Mama and supported me through the loss of her death from COVID. Little did we know, the universe had plans of its own.
All who knew him or followed him, I ask of you this one simple thing, to honor his legacy by simply being kind. I promise, it’s easier than you think.
Continue to rest in power, dear brother. I hope you’re up there splitting lanes and bringing other angels together, just as you did down here. You will never be forgotten. ❤️
