Sam's senior session was such an adventure! ❤️

We explored new locations, tried out creative ideas, and even had the opportunity to photograph inside the old Grand Rapids Town Hall Theatre. What a treat!

Sam came into her session with a vision for her senior pictures, and I loved working together to bring those ideas to life. And a special shout-out to her mom, who was my right-hand helper when the glaring sunlight decided to make things difficult! 😂☀️

These theatre-inspired portraits are just a little peek at what's to come. I cannot wait for Sam and her family to see the rest of her gallery!

Senior pictures don't always go according to plan! 😂🤎

Meet Faith, one of my C/O 2027 seniors! We had her senior session scheduled at Toledo Botanical Garden this past weekend, but about 10 minutes before her session, I got a call from Faith letting me know that park rangers weren't allowing anyone into the park.

And when I tell you TBG was the most crowded I've EVER seen it, I'm not exaggerating. I'd genuinely never seen anything like it!

Since Faith was already dressed and ready for her senior pictures, we quickly pivoted and met at Wildwood Metropark instead. We decided to save half of her senior session for Toledo Botanical Garden for next weekend, when we're hoping things will be a little calmer.

And even though this wasn't our original plan, we came away with some SERIOUSLY gorgeous images! ✨

This is one of the things I think is so important when choosing a senior photographer. Beautiful photos are about more than finding the perfect location or having the perfect weather. Sometimes things happen that are completely outside anyone's control. Having a photographer who can think on her feet, adjust the plan, and still create a great experience makes all the difference.

Faith and her mom were so flexible and wonderful throughout the whole situation, and I appreciate them both so much!

We're only halfway through Faith's senior session, and I'm already loving what we've created together. I can't wait to see what we capture next weekend! 🤎

I’m so glad I got to meet Marishia and her sweet little boy this past weekend! 🥰 The parks were absolutely CRAZY with crowds, but we worked our way around them and still captured some beautiful moments together.

Introducing Tyler // Maumee HS // Class of 2027 ✨

One of my favorite things about senior photography is when a senior chooses a location that's a little different from the usual popular spots.

For Tyler’s senior session, we headed to Side Cut Metropark, which is honestly one of my favorite places to photograph. There aren't many places around Ohio that have this kind of scenery, and I love that it feels like a little hidden gem right here in our area.

We spent the evening exploring some new photo spots, and then we found the BEST sunlit field right as golden hour was setting in. The fall colors were also really starting to show off this weekend, so the timing couldn't have been better. 🍂

And Tyler was such a joy to photograph. He was incredibly laid back, which made the whole session feel so relaxed and natural. We could explore, laugh, try different spots, and just have a great time while capturing some really awesome images.

I also have to give a big shoutout to Tyler’s mom. She has been so supportive and wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, and I truly appreciated having her alongside us for the session.

I had the best time with both of them, and I’m so excited about the images we created for Tyler’s senior year. 🤎

Okay, but HOW COOL IS THIS?! 🌈✨

We caught this little solar flare during Corra’s senior session this past weekend, and it showed up looking like a rainbow!

I absolutely love when something unexpected like this happens during a session. You can plan the outfits, locations, and timing, but you can't plan for a little extra magic to show up in your images.

And this was such a fun session all around. Perfect fall weather, beautiful light, Toledo Botanical Garden, and a senior who was SO much fun to work with.

✨ Meet Hannah // Class of 2027 ✨

This weekend could not have been more beautiful for Hannah’s senior session! We had perfect temperatures, basically no humidity, and the prettiest evening at Pearson Metropark. 🤍

Pearson was such a beautiful fit for her session, with the ponds, stone steps, gorgeous trees, and soft evening light giving us so many different spots to work with. And this flowy long dress?! 😍 It was absolutely perfect for the setting and photographed SO beautifully!

Hannah has been looking forward to her session for so long, and it was such a joy getting to see her excitement and vision come to life. She was so kind and sweet throughout the entire evening, and I loved getting to hear her ideas and help bring them all together.

I’m so thankful Hannah chose me to capture this part of her senior year. I had the best time with you and your mom and cannot wait to share more from this beautiful session! ✨📸🤍

✨ Meet Sierra // Class of 2027 ✨

You would never know it, but it rained all weekend for Sierra’s senior portraits! We found a little break in the wind and rain and made the most of it at Toledo Botanical Garden, and we still got the most gorgeous shots 🌸🤍

Sierra has been SO excited for her senior session, and it was such a joy getting to see her vision come together. She was incredibly kind and sweet throughout the evening, and I loved getting to hear her ideas and help bring them to life.

And this flowy floral dress?! 😍 It was absolutely perfect for the gardens. Between the beautiful setting, soft light, and all that movement in the dress, we were able to create some gorgeous images!

I’m so thankful Sierra chose me to capture this part of her senior year. It was such a pleasure spending the evening with her and creating these portraits together, and I cannot wait to share more from her session soon! 📸✨

✨ Meet Corra // LBHS C/O 2027 ✨

I had the BEST time with Corra and her family for her senior session this past Sunday! 🤍

We caught the very end of summer season at GardenView Flowers, and even with the cooler temperatures, there were still so many beautiful blooms everywhere we looked. The weather was absolutely perfect, with basically no humidity, and we spent the whole evening laughing and having fun together. 🌸

And can we talk about THIS DRESS?! 😍 It was absolutely fabulous. The flow, the movement, the way it photographed... everything about it was perfect for this setting, and Corra was absolutely STUNNING.

I’m so thankful Corra chose me to be part of her senior year, and I’m already looking forward to seeing her again this fall when we get to capture some gorgeous autumn color together! 🍂

For now, I’m soaking up these last little pieces of summer and sharing a few favorites from her beautiful session. 🤍📸
