Same pose, so much variety!

Between n**e and outfits, hats and hair, props and fabrics I love capturing all the variations within my newborn sessions. Sometimes that makes it harder to pick favorites, but still totally worth it because you can never go back to this time of the tiny, squishy newborn phase.

My new favorite little lovie - my little spaceman!

The moon prop is one of my most common props my clients choose and I was getting a little uninspired every time I used it for a newborn session. But then I found Mr. Spaceman. And now I just love adding him into these setups and I have new inspiration for my moon prop again!

My lifestyle room is one of my favorite places in my studio.

I love the casual vibe it offers in studio with beautiful natural lighting and it's a great addition to any session to capture both studio backdrops and natural lifestyle vibes as well. Best of both worlds!

These little ones are so unpredictable, you can never plan for smiles or eye contact or really much of anything... You learn to roll with what they give you in the moment. Thankful for any special moment they share with me!

These days are filling up quick, as I'm much more limited this year (I will be 36+ weeks pregnant doing these in October) so if you are interested now is the time to get a spot!

Not to brag, but Hans Long is the absolute BEST and I look forward to seeing him every year. If you/your kids have met him... They know 😉

I can't believe we are less than 4 months away from officially being a family of SIX! While I'm so excited for the next phase, I'm still wishing time would slow down. Trying to treasure these last months pregnant and soaking in our family as we know it before everything changes!

Beyond grateful everyday for the amazing Dad my kids have in their life.

Capturing these moments of Dad's, whether fresh new Dads or seasoned Dads, are just so special. Although most Dads don't love to get their photos taken, I always say it's not for you - it's for them. Those little beings that will look back one day and see them in their father's arm full of safety and love.

While I'm a sucker for neutral, timeless style baby photos - I always get excited when clients tell me they like bolder tones for their newborn session. It's so fun to play with color and this sweet girl rocked it!
