Where the heart is : Family Films West Michigan and beyond Family Filmmaker + Photographer. I take home video to the next level with creative and emotive cinematic films about everyday life.

While I mainly serve families, I do births and weddings as well. This new endeavor is near and dear to my heart. My goal is to capture lasting memories of your growing families in a documentary and fun style.

Elyse and I also decided to offer a film only option for her mini films coming up on August 2nd! These are only $450 for a 2-3 minute film edited by me. There’s 2 spots left! Head to my website under associate sessions to book. I just edited another one of Elyse’s films and it’s so good!

Another great beach film 🎥 Last year their little man was NOT a fan of being in front of the camera, so I was happy to see him give a big cheese fresh out of the car this year! We all had fun at this session. Just a small reminder that some years look different than others, but I meet you where you’re at each time and create magic either way ✨

I couldn’t think of a better family to have Elyse go fully solo with than one of my longest friends! And can I say - when great minds come together, good things happen! I am so excited I can offer more availability with Elyse’s help. She was having a hard time finding editing time and couldn’t add more sessions, I was having a hard time spending more evenings away from my family - so what a perfect solution to have her film, and myself edit 👭🏻

Got teens? No sweat! Sometimes having older “kids” to work with can be a breath of fresh air for me. We had FUN at this session.

We also bet on an incoming storm to pass on the way to the beach and had me almost crashing out just to end up with perfect skies, wind, the whole she-bang!
