Sometimes a crispy black and white edit is simply necessary. 🖤

We sweat our butts off for some of these photos (literal sweat equity), but this shot makes it all worth it. These two? Effortless together. I’ll have them back in front of my lens again soon ••• preferably on a much cooler day.

You know how sometimes, when you ask a couple to kiss, there’s that quick glance, a little hesitation? Not these two. It was natural, full of laughter, full of warmth. We stayed well past sunset just to chit chat. That’s when you know you’ve found the good ones. I just love their love.

Though I haven’t taken on many sessions since starting my new job back in May, some of my free time is still spent doing what I love ••• with clients who feel more like friends. 💛

This trio welcomed me in for a calm, sweet newborn session with their newest addition, Hudson. He came ready with the funniest expressions, the strength of a baby twice his age, and the most consistent need for milk I’ve ever seen.

The new role has been going great. Between that, kids’ sports, school starting soon, and evenings spent editing or shooting, some days I couldn’t tell you what day it is — or what I even ate for lunch. But in this chaotic, beautiful thing we call life, it all somehow works out.

Vacation highlight: WILDLIFE GALORE!

We spotted moose, elk, sweet newborns (seriously—tiny baby moose and elk trying so hard to figure out their wobbly legs🥹), packs of coyotes, the fluffiest birds, and so much more. Plus some much needed time with family + friends.

Even with all the exploring, I managed to sneak in some editing while we were away. Final gallery touches are happening this week and client deliveries will be going out soon! Thank you for your patience, friends!

To the bio moms, adoptive moms, foster moms, step moms, grandmas, nanas, and every incredible woman who’s chosen to show up with love—this one’s for you.

Thank you for the hugs, the snacks, the car rides, the late nights, the cheerleading, the comforting, the correcting, and the constant giving of your heart. You shape the next generation with your love, your patience, and your fierce belief in them.

Whether you’re rocking a newborn to sleep, chasing toddlers, or watching your grown babies find their way—you deserve to be celebrated and remembered.

Capturing your motherhood journey—those in-between, unposed, joy-filled moments—is truly one of the greatest honors of this work.

▪️An Important Update▪️

After a lot of reflection and planning behind the scenes, I wanted to share a personal update as Anevay Photography enters a new season.

Life at home is shifting in big ways, and with that, my time and availability are also changing. I’ve recently accepted an incredible full-time opportunity that allows me to work remotely, continue growing in my corporate career, and most importantly — be more present for my family.

Because of that, I will no longer be accepting new photography clients moving forward. My availability will be reserved exclusively for currently booked clients and my existing client base — as long as there are no conflicts of interest that prevent me from doing so.

📍✨ For my EXISTING client base, please make sure you’re in my Exclusive Client Group on Facebook. Availability and updates will be shared there moving forward. ✨📍

I do still have access to my beautiful studio space for the next few months, but please note that evening and weekend availability will be very limited as I make this transition.

This decision hasn’t come easy. Photography has been such a deep passion of mine, and the relationships built through this work mean the world to me. I’m so thankful to everyone who has supported me, trusted me, and invited me into your lives to document your stories.

The sunshine and warm temps lately have been hitting different — warm, golden, and just what the heart needed.

These two brought all the sweet cuddles and flirty poses to their session, and I swear the lighting just knew we needed a soft, warm, colorful glow

Side note… I’ll be out of office tomorrow for a school field trip with my little one! I’ll catch up on any messages and booking links following.

✨Caroline + Christian — Couples Mini ✨

Forever thankful for clients who trust my sometimes quirky location ideas! We found a little pocket of beauty (and a bit of shelter from the wind), and the spring vibes did not disappoint.

The weather this weekend was perfect, and these two brought all the playful, sweet energy to their session. I couldn’t wait to get home and share a little sneak peek — more goodness to come from this dreamy evening!
