Well, I did it! 😬 I actually launched my first podcast interview. EEEEK!

I finally got a chance to sit down with my first “ Woman to Watch” from my photo project “ 26 Women to Watch in 2026” Jo Carpenter!

Jo is the owner and operator of Smoky Mountain Cabins in Townsend Tn. She was such a joy to sit and chat with, and find out a little more about her business.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous and felt out of my element with this one… Talk about imposter syndrome 🫣.

But it was so fun, and I think I might get the hang of this gig!

Just bear with me as I learn how to navigate this new genre of social media.

… this is it. My sweet niece, walking into her forever with her bouquet held high.

I didn’t just capture a wedding — I captured my own family’s love story.

This is the one I’ll be showing people for the rest of my life.

Ok but, honestly I’m the same with my own mishaps 🤣 I actually told my client the other day, when I fell, “shoot I wish I had that camera”

The best content is the stuff you didn’t plan. 😂 I’ve fallen more times behind the camera than I can count — and the one time I actually ate it in front of people, of course there was no camera rolling. If you can’t laugh at yourself in this business, this business will humble you real quick.

Anyone else out there have the same weird sense of humor as me? Raise your hand.

August was full — shooting more stories for , getting the website into shape, and quietly (okay, not so quietly) building something I’ve been sitting on for months.

September is about to blow that out of the water. I’m headed to New York Fashion Week to shoot Daneault Handbags on the runway 👜✨ and — deep breath —

Women Worth Watching is officially launching. The podcast I’ve been dreaming about, recording, and second-guessing at 11pm is finally becoming real.

New month, new chapter. Let’s go. 🩷
