Did someone say sunflowers?!
I am so excited to share that the field I do these sessions at in St. Jacob, IL is anticipating a late bloom this year in early September. In years past, the sunflower sessions were gorgeous but H-O-T! I'm definitely looking forward to the same beautiful setting, but with weather that is a little more comfortable for the fam. Here's the deets...

🌻 Sunflower Minis are $250 and include 10 images
🌻 50% deposit required to book
🌻 Date/time will be selected once the field starts showing signs of blooming, likely end of August or first week of September
🌻 Your family must have flexibility if booking one of these, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and field conditions can change with heavy rain, etc.
🌻 Sessions will run consecutively every 20 minutes on the days they are available to book, please arrive at least a few minutes prior to your scheduled start time. Sessions will be held in the 1-2 hours prior to sunset.
🌻 Sunflower sessions are valid for new bookings only, you cannot schedule a previously booked session for this location!! Thank you for understanding!

This session was way outside my usual—but honestly? I had SO much fun, and now I want to do more of them! 🎉📸

To celebrate her 15th birthday, one of my daughter’s closest friends (they’ve been buddies since they were six 🥹) gathered her group of besties for a birthday photo session, and it was everything—giggles, glam, and a whole lot of girl power.

We did group shots, individual portraits of each girl, and captured so many sweet moments between friends.

It was such a joy to finally meet their beautiful baby boy—he is absolute perfection.

This little guy totally melted me with his big gummy smile and generous heart—he kept trying to share his cake with Mom and Dad (a true gentleman already 💙).

This adorable babe did not hold back for her 1st birthday cake smash—and honestly? I respect that.
She dove right in, covered head to toe in frosting, with the biggest smile and the best messy hair you’ve ever seen.
I still can’t get over how her bright red hair pops in every. single. picture… and those eyes?! Total show-stopper. Give me allllllll the little red head babies!!!

Simple. Sweet. And full of so much cuteness 💜
This baby girl absolutely stole the show in her little purple floral dress—just like her mama, which made my heart melt a little (okay, a lot).
It feels like just yesterday I was photographing this family's Fresh 48 session in the hospital, and now here she is… growing, glowing, and full of personality.
Milestone sessions like this one are such a beautiful reminder of how fast the first year flies. It will be time to take her 1 Year Milestone photos before we know it!!

This cake smash was extra special because the birthday girl isn’t just any little one—she’s my studio assistant’s daughter and someone I’ve had the absolute joy of watching grow from day one.

Somehow this sweet girl keeps getting cuter every year 💕
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph her birthday pictures since she was a newborn, and watching her grow into this playful, spunky, joyful little human has been the biggest treat.

This year we did something a little different and hit the playground—and let me tell you, milestone photos + playgrounds = pure gold. Milestone sessions aren't just for babies when my clients come back for birthday pictures every year!
