Exploring the world through their eyes, it’s where true magic lies. Hidden in the unpredictable, in the unhindered curiosity, and waiting for the one who slows down long enough to notice it all.

These girlies spent the evening running through their backyard — rolling hills, tiny butterflies (okay fine, moths 😅), and all the carefree joy you could wish for!

When friends become clients 🥰

This stretch of warm weather (aka false spring 😅) has me daydreaming about one of my favorite sessions from early fall.

How dreamy is this sweet family? You can practically feel the joy spilling out of these moments.

Of course, I’ll always make sure you have those classic family photos — everyone smiling, looking at the camera, frame-worthy and timeless. But what I love just as much (maybe even more) are the in-between moments. The laughter, the movement, the way you naturally connect with your people in a way only you can.

Those moments are what make your images feel alive. They turn photos into keepsakes — capturing your family’s personality and the beauty of this exact season of life. 🤎

Adelinn Wren 💖

I met Anna in 6th grade, and we were instant friends. She is fun and driven, kind and compassionate, adventurous and generous. She has a way of making everyone she meets feel warm and welcomed — and her sense of humor draws people in so effortlessly. She is truly special, and I’m so grateful she found someone who matches her warmth in Josh. They complement each other so beautifully.

So, after 2 decades of friendship, you can imagine what a gift it was to capture Anna and Josh stepping into this new adventure as mom and dad to sweet Addie.

It worked out so perfectly that I was home visiting my parents for Christmas and got to meet little Addie while preserving such a tender, joy-filled season for their family. 🤎

The Woodards were such a dream, and these fall colors were the perfect backdrop for documenting their sweet connection.

I hope to keep sharing more sessions from the last year—just probably at a slower pace. I’ve really been enjoying the freedom of stepping back from consistent posting and allowing myself the freedom to share when I can. 🫶🏼

Between carefully choosing images (hello, perfectionist tendencies 😅) and wanting to truly honor each family’s story, this slower rhythm feels like the right fit for this season of life. Thanks for being here as I share along the way. 🤎

You’ve probably noticed I haven’t been posting as much over these last few months. And you’d be right, I’ve been working away finishing up my client galleries and trying to focus on spending more of my time with my family and kiddos.

I have been incredibly grateful for all of my clients this year, truly more than I expected! But as I learn to navigate doing photography more officially this year I also feel like I missed precious time with my kids.

So, I may pop on a few times over the next few months, but I’m intentionally slowing down and being present to enjoy the holidays with my family. 🤎

The Egglestons, if you know them, you love them! 🥹 Full of life and love and kindness and faith. Intentional in every area of their lives, always serving each other and others. The blessing of having them in my life is something I don’t take for granted and it was such an honor to capture their family.
