Had a beautiful session this weekend with my favorite assistant. ❤️ The historic Red Mill Museum Village in Clinton, one of the most photographed spots in New Jersey, was the perfect backdrop. Grabbed lunch at The Towne Restaurant before heading out, and even caught a cute shot of a curious squirrel.

Hannah Josephine, My Grandmother

Nearly 100 years ago, someone paused time and captured my grandmother in a single frame. They couldn’t have imagined that almost a century later, that photograph would rest in my hands.

Now I am the keeper of that moment. The paper may be worn at the edges, the tones softened by time, but her presence is still there. Her expression. Her posture. The quiet details of a life once lived carried forward into 2026.

That is the true value of photography. It outlives us. It bridges generations. It allows us to look into the eyes of someone we love long after they are gone and feel, even for a second, that time has folded in on itself.

Photographs are more than images. They are proof that we were here. And somehow, almost 100 years later, she still is.
