A little update regarding your children’s privacy.
With the recent conversations surrounding AI and photos of children online, I know a lot of parents are questioning whether they still feel comfortable having identifiable photos of their children shared on social media.
As a family and newborn photographer (and as a mom) I completely understand why this conversation is making parents rethink what they share online.
So I want my clients to know this: your child does NOT have to be posted in order for me to photograph your family.
Going forward, I want every family to feel completely comfortable choosing the level of privacy that works for them.

Full Sharing — You’re comfortable with me sharing your images on my website, portfolio and social media.
Faceless Sharing — I may share images that don’t clearly show your child’s face: little hands and feet, back-of-the-head images, snuggles, silhouettes, detail shots, etc.
Completely Private — Nothing identifying your child will be shared publicly. Your gallery stays yours.

There is no additional fee for choosing privacy, and choosing not to allow me to post your child will never affect the experience or service you receive from me.
I also want to clarify something because there is a lot of frightening information circulating right now. The recent federal appeals-court ruling you’ve probably seen shared did not make it universally legal for someone to take a photograph of a real child and turn it into AI-generated sexual material. The ruling involved a much narrower legal question concerning privately possessed AI-generated material depicting fictional children.
That doesn’t mean parents concerns aren’t valid.
Technology is changing incredibly quickly, and once an image is publicly posted online, we cannot completely control where it goes or what someone else might attempt to do with it.
My job is to preserve your babies, your families and these tiny seasons of your lives…not to decide how much of your children’s lives should exist publicly on the internet.
You get to make that decision. Always.
