A Few Things to Know About “These Are A Few of My Favorite Things” Mini Sessions 🤍

The setup will be simple, bright, and clean with a white backdrop and true-to-color editing, so the focus stays completely on your child and the thing they love most right now.

Wear whatever feels like them. Sunday best, a princess dress, Spider-Man costume, or a simple everyday outfit. Bring the tractors, Woody, dolls, dinosaurs, blankie, favorite book, or whatever they are loving in this season.

On November 21st, Captured x Crouse and The Silly Goose Children's Shop are teaming up for a little something special! Mini sessions designed to document your child with a few of their favorite things!!

The stuffed bunny that goes everywhere. The princess dress they’d wear every single day if you let them. The baby doll loved nearly to pieces. The superhero cape, dinosaurs, trucks, blankie, or that well-loved Woody doll that somehow makes it into every family vacation.

Bring it. ALL of it!

These will be quick, playful sessions with no fuss, just a little fun, some Silly Goose shopping, and a piece of childhood worth keeping. These session are just about your little one being little and however you want to remember them…Because their favorite things today will be your favorite memories one day. 🤍

It’s been quite a summer for CxC, and it only felt fitting to finish it off with a little golden hour, Jimmy Buffett, and these two. ☀️🍸

This GORGEOUS engagement session with the future Gunters has me counting down the days until their August 2027 wedding! So honored to be playing a part in this special time for them🤍

“Come Monday” on the soundtrack, summer sunsets, and a whole lotta moments to look forward to capturing ☺️ already looking forward to 2027

I have been thinking about this for a while, and some recent things that have come out have really confirmed what I have already been feeling about heavily sharing photos of littles on my public pages.

I am already pretty cautious about what I share of the little ones I photograph, and I have a backlog of BEAUTIFUL images, from heirlooms to family sessions, that I would genuinely love to share. But I keep finding myself torn. I am cautious about what I share of my own child, so why would I treat yours any differently?

Heirlooms and those sweet, candid childhood moments are truly some of my favorite things to capture. Honestly, they are some of the work that creatively motivates me the most, and I LOVE getting to share them. But moving forward, I am going to be even more intentional about which images of littles I share on my CxC page, especially full face images on my main grid.

Does this make advertising heirloom and milestone sessions a little harder? Yep. 😂 And honestly, I am not entirely sure how I am going to navigate that yet, but she’ll figure it out! lol

If you are interested in seeing more of my work, I am always happy to chat and privately share galleries or examples. And if you have given me the privilege of documenting your child and choose to share those images yourself, please know how much I appreciate it. 🤍

You may still occasionally see a little face here and there, especially in stories, but overall, I will be keeping images of children much more limited on my public pages moving forward.

My photos aren’t changing but how I share them is for now. 🤍

Hey, it’s TA 🤍

There are very few photos of me in general, and an updated introduction seems long overdue.

I’m Taylor Ann, the Crouse behind the camera. Photography has always been my creative outlet, and a little over two years ago, I started sharing it with others. I’m actually a Physical Therapist and often get asked if photography is my main job. Honestly, it’s not my side gig, or even the side gig to my side gig. (If you need a Disney vacation, let me know 😉)

But CxC is my art (as cheesy as that sounds I know). It is still very much my creative outlet, and now I have the privilege of sharing it with others and helping bring their memories life.

My work leans timeless, authentic, and candid, with a deep love for black and whites. I photograph a little bit of everything, but I have a true love for heirlooms, families, travel, heavy on the Disney, and the ordinary moments where the magic is. Just Capturing life like a song.

A few things about me: I was having fridge cigs in college before they were a thing, black and whites are the superior prints, Grand Floridian meets Ralph Lauren is my aesthetic, my husband and daughter are most of my personality anddd I’m completely okay with that, and my life has a continual burned playlist/CD in my head for every moment because why not?

More than anything, I want the photos I create to feel like you. Photos are for your memories, not for socials. So you can truly remember and they should not be stressful. Not overly posed or perfectly polished, but honest, beautiful, and full of the little things you never want to forget.

their personalities are timeless and worth remembering🤍

For traditional heirlooms sessions, these would’ve probably been culled…. But that’s never been my style. My photos have always been rooted in capturing a moment as it felt and more documentary style. So when I started heirloom sessions, from the very beginning, I knew I wanted to give moms a little more. More than just a perfect pose and smile. Something that feels like they do. The in between bits are where the sweet personality lives and they are always some of my favorites.
