I love a Celebration of Life session that includes casual, everyday moments that capture the many little ways our pets bring joy to our daily lives. From walks to cuddle time to sharing special treats...these are the things we want to remember and I am grateful to be able to capture them.

📢📢 I have a question!!! ✋🏻👋🏼✋🏻 Photo scheduling has been so different this year, for many reasons, and I'm missing seeing everyone at my monthly mini sessions!! I haven't been able to do in-store or studio minis for a while, and I've been getting lots of questions about what is coming up. So, my question is, if we could do a mini session in September, what theme would you want most? It seems like I have gotten the most questions about birthday/gotcha-day sessions - so, that's what I'm leaning towards. Other ideas would be pet+people bonding session (a snuggly, casual session to capture the bond between pet and person...think hand-in paw, cuddles and treats), or a Fall theme with a cozy autumn-styled backdrop to tide us over until time for outdoor fall photos. I'd love to hear what you think...what should be our September mini-session theme?

Everyone needs a snuggly study buddy, and these kitties are ready to deliver! These whiskery students are ready to get back to school and learn to charm their way into a forever family. They don't have much to learn....each of these kitties had charm to spare as we played our way through a fun, book-themed Model Pet Project session. There are SO many unique cats seeking homes - you are sure to find a perfect fit for your family for back-to-school season and beyond.

Happy !! Black cats are often overlooked at shelters, and in fact are only half as likely to be adopted as cats of other colors. Let's show these majestic kitties some love today and beyond! As always, there are some funnies from our most recent session of The Model Pet Project at Over Whiskers . Oakley was so busy chattering and "clicking" at our toys that I had a hard time photographing her with her mouth closed. 😅 This playful girl is going to bring so many smiles to her forever family.
