I photographed Kolson Havlik back in 2016 at the Marshalltown Skatepark Fest. The black & white image of him is one of my favorite images from that whole day. Such a talented kid.
I just received word that Kolson passed away last week. Please send your love to this young man’s family, friends, and community. ♥️

I was asked to photograph the photo booth for the Cedar Rapids Haunted Halloween Ball and we had a blast! They are having a Facebook costume contest with some of the images we took that night over on their page. This young man recently lost his life. I had the privilege of photographing him at several Marshalltown Skatepark events. Help his family by donating to his memorial fund if you are able by purchasing this T-shirt with a photo I took of Manny skating.
